Meet Emily Crestani | Actress, Singer & Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Crestani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emily, why did you pursue a creative career?
The Arts truly saved me. I didn’t grow up with the easiest childhood, there were countless moments where I didn’t have the words to openly express what I was feeling. But through Music, Acting, and Performance – I could. I could sing about it, embody a character, I could move in ways that made me feel free. It became my form of communication before I even had the words.
I started training in Musical Theatre when I was about 3/4 years old, and from the very beginning, it felt like home. The fusion of voice, movement, and emotion just made sense to me. At first, it was an escape – a sanctuary where I could process what I was going through and feel safe. But over time, it grew into so much more than that.
What once helped me survive has now become the path I’m proud to walk. I no longer perform to hide – I do it to connect, to reveal, and to offer something real to anyone who might be feeling what I once felt. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling! Not just for the sake of entertainment, but because of how deeply it can move people, bring them together, and make them feel seen.
At my core, I’ve always had the heart of a humanitarian. I even considered a career in intelligence work because I’ve always cared about protecting & helping others. But the Arts gave me a different kind of power – one rooted in empathy, expression, and connection. It lets me move people, tell stories that matter, and create space for others to feel safe, understood, and never alone.
That’s why I do this. Performing isn’t just something I love – it’s the most honest reflection of who I am and the most meaningful way I know to make a positive difference.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been creating, performing, and expressing myself through the Arts since I was a kid – it’s always felt like second nature to me. Music & performance were all around me growing up: my dad used to be a lead singer in a band, and my great-grandmother was an opera singer. I started Musical Theatre training when I was 3/4 and I’ve never looked back.
What sets me apart, I think, is the way I approach my work: it’s not just a career, it’s not just a passion. I’m deeply serious about my work, but I never force it. I fully commit to it because I love it – not because I’m chasing a trend or a title. Every project I take on, whether it’s music or acting, is approached with total immersion. I create with all five senses. When I’m in the studio, I’m already thinking in visuals, scenes, feeling, texture, even energy! I don’t just want people to hear what I make, I want them to experience it. Same goes for acting. I don’t just “play” a character; I study, research and live them. My background in psychology and subconscious work helps me go deeper than the script and fully embody who that person is. Every performance is an extension of truth – mine and theirs.
Right now, I’m incredibly excited about a few major projects I’ve got coming up… one of which I can’t say too much about yet, but it has the potential to completely shift the trajectory of my artistic career.
I’m also currently working toward the official release of my debut single, which has been a long time coming and means the world to me.
As for how I got to where I am today… it wasn’t always easy, but it also never felt impossible.
When you genuinely love what you do and stay rooted in that love, the so-called obstacles don’t feel like obstacles, they just feel like part of the process. I overcame everything by staying aligned with my passion, doing it for the right reasons, and working on my mindset. Because truthfully, the hardest battle you’ll ever face in life is with your own mind.
The biggest lesson I’ve learnt is that your perception, especially during moments that feel hard, is everything. Your mindset is what will keep you going.
The industry will try to tell you who to be, how to look, and what to do. But the most important thing is staying true to yourself. If you do that, you’ll always end up where you’re meant to be!
The work is demanding, but when you’re doing what you love in a way that’s true & honest to who you are, it becomes a reward in itself.
I’ve always felt like a bit of a humanitarian at heart. I care deeply about mental health, self-awareness, and helping others believe in themselves. There’s no shame in your past, and there’s no shame in being vulnerable.
I had a rough past too, but I’m still standing here doing what I love & evolving into the best version of myself. That’s the energy I bring into everything I do. I’m not trying to be a perfect image, I’m being as real as one can be. My brand is built on authenticity, emotional depth, creativity, and truth.
I believe in owning your story, and turning it into proof that others can rise too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I absolutely have to give the biggest shoutout to my parents – my Mum & Dad have supported me through every stage of my life. From the very beginning, they gave me the freedom to explore every passion I had. Whether it was acting, singing, dance, music, or martial arts – they never once tried to force a path on me. Instead, they gave me the space to discover who I was, what I loved, and what I was truly meant to do. Without their emotional, mental, and even financial support, I wouldn’t be the multitalented creative I am today.
I’m also incredibly grateful to Dr. Fasai Panyapat Thummarattana, my longtime vocal coach & industry mentor. She began training me in voice when I was just 4 years old. It was actually through her mentorship that I was encouraged to participate in the Thailand Vocalist Awards – where I ended up winning an award at just 8 years old, one that was instituted by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Her guidance laid the foundation for my technique, discipline, and ever-developing vocal and musical identity – I carry her teachings with me into every song & performance.
Another pivotal moment in my journey was the opportunity to train under Michael Palance, who introduced me to real on-set performance techniques and industry mindset. That experience opened my eyes to what it truly means to act for the camera, taught me so much about the business early on, and completely shifted my focus from Musical Theatre to Commercial Film. I’ll always love MT, but Film offers something even more demanding in the best way. It’s where I feel most creatively challenged and most alive.
I also have to thank my closest friends – some of whom have been in my life for nearly a decade. Their loyalty and love have kept me grounded through all the chaos.
As for artistic inspirations, I’ve always admired how Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have stayed true to themselves despite public pressure.
Taylor’s songwriting, bravery, and kindness left a huge impression on me – especially since I actually met her when I was five!
Ariana’s personal & professional journey, work ethic, and vocal brilliance constantly remind me that softness and strength can beautifully co-exist.
Lastly, I want to thank every past version of myself. The ones who kept showing up, dreaming big, and holding on – even when things felt heavy.
None of it was wasted. Her resilience, her heart, and her unwavering belief carried me here. So truly – thank you, Emily. I wouldn’t be here without you!
