We had the good fortune of connecting with Stormie Calder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stormie, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I define success as a living relationship between who you are, how you express yourself, the actions you take every day, and the life you choose to create with your higher personal vision. Success is realizing our potential individually and acting on it. It’s all created in the present moment, with many successful moments that stack and create a momentum that becomes a ‘force to be reckoned with’. It’s like you become the success rather than seeing success outside of yourself. Success becomes a way of living & a rhythm of becoming the highest version of yourself every day— rather than an achievement or a one time destination.

Here’s how I define key pillars of success:

1. Unlock your highest potential & inner genius.

Success is unlocking your highest potential and realizing it every day. Tapping into your own personal excellence & high performance states of being, to become fully expressed, naturally authentic, and on the way to creating your dream life every day in reality. It’s about accessing those high-performance states that allow you to operate from your full creative flow of genius and choosing to meet that version of yourself every day. Your inner genius is not something to chase, and not something you “just get access to automatically”. It’s something you have to uncover, explore, understand, and then activate it daily with conscious participation & creation with your higher vision.

2. Discover & get to know your true self via self-realization.

To live successfully, you must first be willing to know yourself truthfully without all the masks, the past & what other people think you should do or be or express. This means shedding the layers of external expectation, inherited beliefs, and false identities that cloud your clarity, purpose & true expression. Self-realization is about uncovering the essence of who you are—your character, your desires, your emotional truth, your intuition & alignment to your soul purpose in life—and creating your life in alignment with this awareness consciously.

3. Commit to radically authentic creative expression in alignment with your character, virtues and values.

Success is found in the congruence between your inner world and outer life. When your actions, decisions, your voice and creative expression reflects who you truly are, confidence becomes magnetic. Naturally you step into a state of high-performance and self-expression becomes a form of embodied leadership. For your highest states of performance are not “an act”— they are natural to who you are authentically and that must be practiced daily through self expression. From this place you live in integrity—not just with others, but with yourself. The commitment starts with radically authentic self expression. That expression makes room for steady high performance.

4. Make bold moves & embrace courage as a daily habit.

True success requires consistent brave action. It demands that you step beyond comfort, trust your vision, and take aligned risks to bring your dreams into reality practically. It’s the daily choice to move forward and make the moves, even when uncertainty is present. Boldness, when rooted in clarity  vulnerability to your truth, becomes the catalyst for transformation.

5. Create a high-performance lifestyle as a daily practice to make success consistent & automatic.

I view success through the lens of high performance—not in a hustle-driven way, but in a conscious, disciplined devotion to excellence. It’s the intentional refinement of your thoughts, habits, and actions in service to your purpose. As Aristotle said: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” I believe the same is true for success. It is cultivated through rhythm, repetition, commitment, radically authentic self expression, and personal responsibility. When we practice excellence, integrity & high performance every day— it becomes an automatic habit. It becomes natural and authentic.

6. Celebrate your wins to anchor positive belief and reinforce progress in your identity.

Part of success is consistently reinforcing progress to build a baseline of unconditional trust in yourself, positive expectation & evidence that you are who you say you are everyday (and who you believe you are becoming). When you take time to acknowledge your progress, honor your wins, and reflect on how far you’ve come, you reinforce an identity rooted in capability, momentum, and self-trust. Recognition becomes a tool for transformation.

When you live this way—intentionally, boldly, and in alignment with your truth—success becomes the natural outcome & an effortless state of high performance.

Success is when the life you lead becomes a reflection of your inner truth.
Not because you’re striving for it, but because you’re becoming it.
Not as performance, but as presence.
Not as achievement alone, but as alignment made visible through self expression & life purpose in action.
This for me— is true, unwavering success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a spiritual high-performance life coach and spiritual mentor. My work is what I live and breathe every single day—spirituality, confidence, motivation, alignment, and authentic self-expression. I help people tap into and activate their highest potential and life purpose, so they can actualize their dreams into reality.

Through spirituality, life coaching, and intuitive channeling, I guide people into radical confidence—helping them trust themselves deeply, live from their soul, tap into their intuition, make big bold moves, great life decisions, and create a life that feels fully aligned with who they truly are. I offer this work through private coaching, online signature programs, my monthly group membership The Source Code, and weekly teachings on my YouTube channel.

What sets you apart in your industry?
I have a rare gift—the ability to clearly and consciously see someone’s soul-level potential, what’s standing in the way, and the pathway forward. It’s a spiritual gift that blends psychic intuition, a deep understanding of human behavior and personal development, metaphysical energy work, my shamanic instincts, as well as my accumulated personal and professional life experience.

Additionally, I bring over a decade of experience in entrepreneurship and marketing. My entrepreneurial experience grounds my coaching practice in practical, structured, and actionable strategies that create real momentum.

The result? Transformation that feels natural, intuitive, and even enjoyable—what I call effortless high performance as a way of life.

What are you the most proud and excited about in your work?
What I’m most excited about is how often I create & publish, intentionally on demand high-value teaching content, wisdom & stories.

From videos to programs, tools to solutions—I pour my creative energy into building a world of personal and spiritual development for the people who step into my universe. Most people I encounter struggle to continue to keep the high-performance creative flow— flowing! I’ve always been highly creative, but I’m really proud of my ability to tap into the creative flow on demand, and without creative blockages to create and publish projects and content nearly every day. Whether it’s a new perspective in videos, a methodology, a mindset shift, meditations, a tool, or a full online signature program. I love helping people get unstuck and step into their next level self.

I create from a state of on-demand high performance. It’s a well practiced and refined skill that I’ve taken the time to develop in myself and my body of work. It’s a habit, a discipline, and a devotion to sharing what I love with the people who need my experience and my perspective.

How did you get to where you are today?
I became this version of myself through a lot of lived experience— healing from trauma, unlearning negative thinking and habits, while rebuilding myself from the inside out into a very vibrant, creatively expressed woman.

I went through the school of life experience (hard knocks), and I have been devoted to learning curiously something new everyday while creating a daily practice of practical application.

My path has been one of transformation: from trauma to wholeness, from hiding to full creative self-expression. I didn’t arrive here by accident—I arrived here intentionally through sheer grit, resilience, tenacity, and an unwavering commitment to heal something within myself every single day for the past 17 years.

From this practice, I began to share what I healed within myself and in my own life with others—and that’s how I became a spiritual mentor and coach.

What were some of the greatest challenges you had to overcome?
There were so many challenges to become the woman I am today: a coach, a speaker, a spiritual guide, a content creator and a dynamic leader.

The biggest challenges I overcame were around embracing personal confidence, authentic self-expression, and publicly speaking my truth (no matter how inconvenient).

Early in my life, I experienced significant complex trauma that left me disconnected from my voice and my power. I was shy, scared, hesitant, non-trusting, and burdened by the emotional residue of abuse, projection, deep neglect and abandonment wounding.

I had to fight for my voice, my power, and to express my authentic truth.
I had to reclaim my right to speak, to be seen, to acknowledge my value, to be loved, and to be whole. And I’m happy I did!

The journey of healing became my training ground– my dojo. I massaged each layer of trauma, growth and healing with so much care, grace and resilience. Now I share those lessons through my body of work, my business, and spiritual practice.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned that you can share with us today?
The hardest thing we can do in this world is to radiate ourselves in our truth authentically. To be completely whole, creatively self expressed, radically authentic, and securely confident in who we are. We’re all placed into societal, familial and cultural “personality molds” we don’t belong in. It’s time to break them and discover our true identities.

Here are some lessons I would share:
— You are of high value.
— Your consciousness contains a unique combination of life experiences, your perspective, talents, creative gifts, soul wisdom, and purpose that this world desperately needs.
— And in order to access that, you have to clear out everything that holds you back: limiting beliefs, shame, fear, and the expectations that were never yours to carry. You must let go of doubt, release insecurities, reconcile with past mistakes, and open up to more expansive ways of thinking to become solution focused.
— Share what you learn in life experience. There’s nothing like real wisdom from experience, and it’s such a gift to share it!

Be bold. Break the mold.
Learn and discover who you are. Hold nothing back.
Challenge any voice that tells you to shrink or that you should live a mediocre life.
Express yourself fully and creatively every day in any way you feel is right for you.
Do it all, pursue your dreams and learn through doing.

You’ll learn more from taking the bold leaps into the unknown than you will from sitting on the bench wishing you could make it all happen.
Mistakes are part of the process. You can always course-correct, adapt, and evolve.

In my world, failure doesn’t exist—only feedback and refinement.
Learn, adapt, revise and keep going.
Your dreams and visions are needed in this world. Make it happen.

What do you want the world to know about your story?
I believe that empowerment, creativity and a good attitude—has brought me everything I’ve needed to become who I am today.
I didn’t come from an easy life. In fact, I came from a background that could have easily shut me down to feel disenfranchised.
Rather than give into victimization & mediocrity, I chose to explore new ways of living & being. I chose to rise & create who I wanted to become rather than fall into the circumstances around me.

I chose to create empowerment from fertile life experience. I chose to see solutions where everyone else only saw problems. I chose to alchemize pain into purpose and transform my circumstances into my prosperity. I created something beautiful for myself, and now I help others do the same.

I am self-made.
I walked most of my spiritual and personal development journey with very little support. And I share that, not for sympathy—but as evidence that with creativity, resourcefulness, commitment, and a daily decision to keep going, you can create a life that feels so fulfilling it will bring tears of gratitude to your eyes.

Every day is an opportunity.
Every moment holds the power to begin again.
And if I can do it, you can too.

When it comes to pursuing your dreams — just do it. What you have here and now is enough to begin. Get it into motion and then focus on maintenance.

There is no excuse worth placing your dreams on backburner. Even if the odds are stacked against you—you still have access to your inner genius, your creativity, your curiosity, your happiness, your attitude, your spirit and your personal power.

Start now. You are enough as you are. You don’t need “another degree”, “more credibility” or someone else’ s validation to begin.

You can build a life you truly love.
You can transform and unlock your highest potential.
It’s a reality—if you choose it, and never give up. 😉

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I was showing a friend a good time in Los Angeles, and I wanted to have some wholesome fun, here are my recommendations…

Santa Monica/Venice:
The amusement park at the Santa Monica Pier. I love heading straight to the roller coaster and picking up a mango fruit bowl from the food carts nearby.
Grab a longboard/skateboard or a bike and hit the boardwalk.
There are always lots of artists and creatives selling their artwork in Venice on the boardwalk. Talk to them. They have incredible stories.
If it’s the right time to go surfing— go surf! It’s exhilarating.

Beverly Hills:
Walk through the flats— it’s one of the most beautiful parts of Los Angeles.
Greystone Mansion is definitely worth a visit for old world charm.
Walk down Rodeo Drive, grab some pictures for Instagram, get a drink at the Beverly Wilshire.
Then head to The Beverly Hills Hotel & catch lunch or dinner at the Cabana or the classic Polo Lounge.

Museums:
The Getty is my favorite. The architecture, the art and the grounds are gorgeous, relaxing and a beautiful reset.
Head to LACMA for more art, and take photos at the Urban Lights Exhibit.
Grab a coffee at the diner at the Peterson Automobile Museum and then checkout all the beautiful cars.
Don’t miss the Mr. Brainwash Museum in Beverly Hills. It’s fun, cheeky and interactive.

Catch lots of live music and comedy— the city is filled with both.
Drive down Sunset Blvd.
And make sure you visit The Griffith Observatory before you close your trip!

If you have extra time, take a couple days camping in Joshua Tree. It’s an incredible reset. You can rent gear at shops outside of the park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d give a big shout out to every version of me that had to embrace strength and vulnerability simultaneously to find her way to where I am today and move through the versions of success I had to create. I’d also shout out some love and gratitude to my ride or die friendships that have held my hand in embracing me for who I am and how I authentically express myself.
