Meet Bhargav Choudhury | Guitarist / Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bhargav Choudhury and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bhargav, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been consistency and a genuine passion for music. I’ve always focused on constant growth—both as a guitarist and a producer—while staying true to my unique sound and artistic values. Building strong relationships, maintaining professionalism, and always being open to learning from every experience have also played a key role. Whether performing on stage, working in the studio, or teaching students, I strive to bring authenticity and excellence to everything I do. That mindset has helped me grow my brand and earn the trust of both collaborators and audiences.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey with music began in middle school, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for all kinds of music—especially rock, blues, funk, and jazz. Coming from a completely different part of the world, pursuing music full-time and living independently has been far from easy. But every challenge has shaped me into the artist I am today. What sets me apart is my versatility, openness to different styles, and commitment to authenticity in everything I play or produce. I’m proud of how far I’ve come—from humble beginnings to working with renowned artists and teaching at a top music institute. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that passion and persistence can break barriers. I want the world to know that my story is one of dedication, and my goal is to inspire others through my music and journey

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d make sure they experienced the city’s rich musical soul and vibrant energy. We’d start with iconic spots like the Guitar Center Hollywood and the Musicians Institute, then catch a live show at The Hollywood Bowl, The Troubadour or Hotel Café for some intimate, world-class performances. For food, we’d hit Grand Central Market for variety, grab tacos at Guisados, and maybe a late-night bite at Canter’s Deli. During the day, we’d chill at Venice Beach or hike up to Griffith Observatory for city views and inspiration. I’d also take them to local jam sessions or open mics around Silver Lake or Highland Park—where the scene is raw and real. It’d be all about music, good food, creativity, and soaking in the unique energy that makes L.A. such a playground for artists.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a shoutout to the Musicians Institute, where I’ve had the privilege to teach and grow alongside so many inspiring artists. I’m incredibly grateful to my parents for their constant support and belief in me, and to my talented friends whose creativity and passion continually push me to evolve. Their encouragement has played a huge role in my journey, and I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
