The most important factor behind my success is God—faith in Him and faith in myself. A friend was just telling me that we can plan and try to force things, but it never works out the way we expect. I’ve learned it’s important to hold onto what you want with a loose grip and trust that God (or the universe, if that’s what you believe in) will handle the rest. I do everything in my power, but I leave the outcome up to faith—and somehow, it always works out. Maybe not in the way I imagined, but in the way I needed. I’d say the most important factor behind my success with HazyLilFlower and the reason I have been successful would be by staying authentic as possible to myself and my craft. I don’t try and think about it as, “what is going to make more money?”. I create when I feel inspired that day or create things that I would personally like and would wear. If the audience and customers fall in love with it then it’s just a plus. I feel that people can tell when you’re creating just to try and make sales.
