We had the good fortune of connecting with Lola Miche and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lola, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As a photographer, I believe my work is about a lot more than just taking beautiful photos. I believe photography has the power to spread connection, confidence, emotion, and positivity. From the images themselves to the energy I bring onto every set, I try to create an experience where people feel seen, comfortable, and genuinely themselves.

A huge part of my work is collaborating with people who are out in the world making an impact through their own craft or profession. Whether it’s a musician expressing emotions that help people feel less alone, an actor creating stories that move others, a coach helping people grow emotionally or financially, a real estate agent helping someone buy their first home, or entrepreneurs building businesses that serve others, I love helping passionate people visually communicate who they truly are.

I believe authentic imagery creates trust, connection, and inspiration. When someone feels confident in how they present themselves and their purpose to the world, that energy naturally reaches other people too. To me, that creates a ripple effect. If I can help elevate people who are already helping others, then in some small way, my photography becomes part of something bigger than just photos, it becomes part of creating more positivity, inspiration, and human connection in the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Photography, to me, has never just been about taking photos. It’s about capturing truth, emotion, energy, and connection. What sets me apart is the experience I create for people while we’re shooting. I don’t just show up with a camera; I bring energy, direction, encouragement, creativity, and the ability to make people feel comfortable enough to be fully themselves. I think that authenticity is what people connect to most in my work.

I work with a wide range of people from musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, coaches, real estate agents, families, couples, and everyday people who simply want to remember an important season of their lives. No matter who I’m photographing, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel real and emotionally connected rather than overly posed or disconnected. I want people to look back at their photos years later and still feel something.

Getting to where I am professionally definitely wasn’t easy. Like most creatives, there were moments of self-doubt, financial stress, burnout, comparison, and figuring things out as I went. Building a business takes far more than talent alone, it takes consistency, resilience, people skills, adaptability, and learning how to keep going even when things feel uncertain. I had to learn how to trust my own vision instead of constantly comparing myself to others or trying to fit into what I thought the industry wanted me to be.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that authenticity will always take you further than trying to copy what everyone else is doing. People connect with realness. Another lesson I’ve learned is that energy matters just as much as the final product. The way you make people feel during an experience stays with them long after the photos are delivered.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I genuinely care about people. I care about their stories, their growth, their businesses, their relationships, and the moments they’re living through. Whether I’m photographing a couple in love, a family welcoming a new baby, or an entrepreneur building their dream, I want my work to reflect the humanity and emotion behind it all. At the end of the day, I want my photography to leave people feeling more confident, more seen, and more connected to themselves and others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If one of my best friends was visiting for a week, I’d want them to experience a mix of the creative, beautiful, relaxing, and fun side of Los Angeles, not just the typical tourist spots. I’d definitely take them to some of my favorite hidden gems and places that feel inspiring to me personally.

One of the first places I’d take them is Lake Hollywood for a walk. It’s one of my favorite spots to clear my head, get exercise, and take in the views of the Hollywood sign without the chaos of the more tourist-heavy areas. It feels peaceful while still reminding you that you’re in LA.

I’d also book us facials with Healing By Maya because Maya Zeineddine is honestly one of the best estheticians I’ve ever met. Self-care mixed with good conversation is always a perfect day to me.

Of course, I’d have to bring them to El Matador State Beach since it’s one of my favorite beaches to photograph at. The cliffs, rocks, sunsets, and overall energy there are unreal. Even after living in California for years, it still feels magical every time I go. We’d probably spend hours there taking photos, talking, and just soaking everything in.

For dinner, I’d take them to Laya Restaurant off Cahuenga because I love the atmosphere and the food is incredible. It’s one of those places that feels elevated but still warm and inviting at the same time.

At some point during the week, we’d absolutely do a comedy night at The Comedy Store because I think laughter is one of the best parts of life. There’s something really special about ending a long day in LA sitting in a dark comedy club crying laughing with friends.

I’d also probably take them on a drive up the coast through Malibu, stop at random scenic overlooks, maybe hit a local farmers market, and spend time around creative neighborhoods like Silver Lake or West Hollywood where there’s always something interesting happening.

To me, the best parts of Los Angeles aren’t just the places. It’s the feeling. It’s the combination of creativity, ambition, beauty, wellness, entertainment, and the random unforgettable moments you end up having with people along the way.
