We had the good fortune of connecting with Veronica Giammanco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the greatest factor behind my success has been my commitment to integrity. In an industry where it’s easy to tell people what they want to hear or encourage dependence, I’ve chosen a different path. My work has always been rooted in honesty, discernment, and personal responsibility.

Whether someone comes to me for spiritual guidance, mentorship, or insight, my goal isn’t to create followers. It’s to help people strengthen their own ability to think critically, trust themselves, and make empowered decisions. Sometimes that means delivering difficult truths or encouraging someone to face what they’ve been avoiding, even when it’s uncomfortable.

My business has never been built on creating dependency. It’s been built on helping people develop greater trust in themselves. Ironically, I think that’s exactly why so many clients continue to come back. They know my priority isn’t keeping them dependent on me. It’s helping them become stronger, wiser, and more confident in themselves.

Integrity isn’t the easiest way to build a business, but I believe it’s the most sustainable. Trust is earned one conversation at a time, and I’ve made it my mission to protect that above everything else.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I own a spiritual mentorship practice dedicated to helping people navigate life’s most challenging seasons with greater clarity, self-awareness, and personal responsibility. While spirituality is at the heart of my work, I’ve never believed it should separate us from the human experience. I believe it should help us engage with it more honestly.

Over the years, my business has evolved alongside my own personal growth. When I first began this journey, my work looked very different than it does today. As my understanding deepened, so did my approach. I became less interested in simply providing answers and more committed to helping people ask better questions, recognize unhealthy patterns, and develop the confidence to navigate life long after our work together ends.

I think what sets my practice apart is that I don’t believe spirituality should be used to avoid difficult conversations, painful emotions, or personal accountability. My work blends spiritual wisdom with the realities of being human because lasting transformation requires both. Someone can have profound spiritual insight, but if they never establish the boundary, grieve the loss, have the difficult conversation, or take responsibility for their choices, very little changes. Real growth happens when spiritual understanding is translated into meaningful action.

Building a business rooted in that philosophy hasn’t always been easy. There were times when it would have been simpler to fit into expectations or follow trends within the industry. Instead, I chose to let my business evolve as I evolved, trusting that authenticity would ultimately resonate with the people I was meant to serve. Looking back, one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that integrity builds far stronger relationships than trying to be everything to everyone.

What I’m most proud of isn’t a milestone or a number. It’s the trust I’ve built with the people who invite me into some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. That’s a responsibility I never take lightly, and it’s something I strive to honor every single day.

If there’s one thing I’d want people to know about me and my brand, it’s that my mission has never been to give people all the answers. It’s to help them cultivate the awareness, discernment, and confidence to navigate life for themselves. I don’t believe spirituality should replace our humanity. I believe it should deepen it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to Los Angeles for a week, I’d probably surprise them because I’m not much of a nightlife person. I don’t drink, and I genuinely enjoy living a healthy, slower-paced lifestyle. So instead of planning the typical tourist itinerary, I’d want to share the places and experiences that make me feel grounded and connected.

One place I’d absolutely take them is Willow River Equestrian in Lake View Terrace. They host beautiful community experiences centered around mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and connecting through horses and nature. There’s something incredibly grounding about being around horses. They have a way of bringing you fully into the present moment, and I think everyone should experience that at least once. I have so much appreciation for what Willow River has created because it offers something we all need a little more of: space to slow down, reconnect, and simply be.

Of course, they’d also have to spend plenty of time with my three Dachshunds, Vinnie, Bruno, and Enzo. Anyone who knows me knows they’re a huge part of my life, so they’d absolutely become honorary tour guides for the week. Whether we’re relaxing at home, taking them on an adventure, or just laughing at their oversized personalities packed into little bodies, they would definitely be part of the itinerary.

We’d spend an evening watching the sunset in Malibu because the beach has always been one of my favorite places to reset. We’d also spend a few mornings wandering through local farmers markets.

Now, if I had to give myself one cheat meal for the week, we’d be heading straight to Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank. It’s one of my favorite spots because it still captures that classic old Hollywood charm. Sitting across from the studios, it feels like stepping into another era, and it’s one of those places that has managed to preserve its character over the years.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
If I had to dedicate this shoutout, it would begin with Santa Muerte. My spiritual path has profoundly shaped not only my personal life, but the way I approach my work. Through my devotion, I’ve learned some of life’s greatest lessons about humility, accountability, resilience, and the importance of living in alignment with my values. Those lessons continually remind me that my role isn’t to have all the answers. It’s to serve with integrity, remain a lifelong student, and show up authentically for the people who place their trust in me.

I’d also dedicate this shoutout to my clients.

People often assume that because I’m the one offering guidance, I’m the only one doing the teaching. The truth is, my clients have taught me just as much. They’ve trusted me with some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, and that’s a responsibility I never take lightly.

Their willingness to be honest, ask difficult questions, and do the inner work has continually challenged me to grow in my own integrity. Every conversation reinforces my belief that true guidance should empower people, not create dependency.

Without their trust, there would be no business. Every conversation, every lesson, and every shared moment has shaped the person and mentor I’ve become. For that, I’ll always be deeply grateful.
