We had the good fortune of connecting with Holly “HaHa Holly” Logan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Holly “HaHa Holly”, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think taking risks is a necessary evil. I recently took a risk by walking away from a 6 figure job with good benefits to purse my comedy and acting career. The job was the real risk. I was risking my health, happiness and life meaning. The best thing I have ever done is walked away from corporate America. Was it a big risk? Absolutely, but it’s paying off now!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve known since the age of 5 that I wanted to be a comedian. I used to entertain the neighborhood. My friend would sit up on her hill and I would stand at the bottom and tell jokes until as they say “the streetlights came on”. I am a two time brain surgery survivor; one in 2013 and one in 2016. It was after the second surgery during my recovery that I decided to make my dream a reality. I took the comedy stage professionally for the first time April 23, 2017 and haven’t looked back sense. What makes me different? Me, nobody can be me nor I them. My comedy has evolved into me having my own GIF’s and Meme’s with my own branded channel on Giphy.com . My GIF’s and Memes have close to 500 million views in just a little over a year. I just enjoy making people happy and if it takes making light of my life and shortcoming then that’s what I’ll do!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
OH BOY…. well first and foremost whenever someone visits LA the first time they want to do the whole Hollywood Blvd thing. I give everyone the same speech… “I will entertain this because it’s your first time here, from here on out NEVER ask me to do this again. And taking the star map tours is out of the question” LOL… I hate the touristy stuff cause that’s not what LA represents for me. I like to take people to the beach but the less touristy errors and just take in the beauty.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Not to be cliche’ but first and foremost GOD! I also credit my parents for nurturing my creativity as a child. My mom ad best friend Terrell have both passed on but they have and continue to influence my journey every step of the way.
