We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Berger and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Let me first start off by saying risks without a doubt has played a huge role within my life and career. With that said the reasons why it made such a big impact all begins with the little and big risks iv’e taken. I feel without risks you aren’t able to reach your highest potential whether that’s within your work choices or life choices. Making big changes really takes a huge amount of risks because not knowing the outcomes can worry us. I see it as everything is a scale and you have to give something up in order to gain something of equal value. It doesn’t mean it has to be something materialistic either, it can be simple as your time. The risks I’ve had to take were trusting in my skills as an digital artist to know that they are good enough for the next level for working for myself as a freelance artist. We have too be open too take those risks so we can not only better ourselves, but better the ones around us as well. If you are not taking risks whether huge or small you really living life to the best of your ability? This question pops in my head often and reminds me that getting what you desire doesn’t come from your comfort zones. Also believe that each small risk that you take will add up to your success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What really drives my work would have to be my love for music. I get a lot of artistic music video b=vibes when listening too a wide variety of music from synth-wave to video game sound tracks and the list goes on. I’m still in the process of learning to mix different types of motion graphics with music to create my own little lane of artwork down the road. Getting to where i am isn’t as easy as it sounds when telling people i self teach myself from watching YouTube videos. It takes a lot of concentration to absorb the information without not wanting too tap into some Anime or Netflix. Some things i have learned on this self learning experiences is that you always learn a little something extra that you didn’t think you needed to know. That alone keeps me going forward in wanting to learn more and see what else i can add to my level up carts and use later. With ReDragon VFX i would like the world to know that your life is what you make of it so mix your interest with your imagination to create content that has a little part of who you are.
