We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesse J Collections and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesse, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk in life is everything. It builds you as a person and plays a big role in your successes. You never want to be what if or I should have. You take those risks and no matter what it’s a great success or learning experiences. Which will build you and lead you towards your successes. I’m literally self made by taking risk. No one gave me money to start my businesses. I started small and grew from there.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from everyone is my originality and risk taking. My kind heart and soul.. My hard working ethics and my never giving up. I’m determined and I work hard towards what I want and what I believe in. I thankfully now own two showrooms @thetrendhaus & Trend Haus exclusive and two clothing lines. And also just bought my first home . I want everyone to know. no Matter where you come from or how much you been through we all have the ability to become successful And inspire others to do the same. Your only competition is yourself and always be a kind to everyone and give back to others. 

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say in Los Angeles. Most definitely hikes, BOA & catch restaurant. Shopping on melrose & rodeo drive. Spa & massages . Pool side @ the Roosevelt hotel. The beautiful beaches; so many to pick from. I also like to help clean up Los Angeles & feed the homeless. My favorite juice place “juice crafters“ & of course coming by my showroom @thetrendhaus

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents and My family And My Day 1 supporters. They mentally help me get we’re I am today. Because of them I learned and became who I am because of hard work and them. My mother’ Antonio Lobato Guillen who is my queen and my sister Tracy Guillen Estrada who is  my leader and my dad who is my strength. My grandma Rosa Martinez is we’re I get my great taste and fashion style from.
