We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrian Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrian, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was always taught to create your own capacity and stay in a lane that’s open. My mom would say to me make sure it’s something people want and then go above and beyond to service that need. I have an always wanted to do service but I’ve always wanted to be of service.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Xyion is the third company I have started. It was created out of a need to service artist and help them become smarter entrepreneurs. It’s hard to put one dimension of what we do when management encourages you to do everything. I would say that I was able to get in my current position by working hard and staying focused on the path. Nothing is easy in this life but if you’re passionate about what you do it almost feels as if though there’s no work. So many lessons to speak on I would say the strongest one is stay in your lane and remain focused.
That we care is a common thread for the work and the clients. I really want people to understand that my team does this for the love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
LA is full of exciting places and things to do and as the “unofficial mayor” I get an opportunity to show people my version of the city. I actually created a visitors guide to called “Floss Angeles”, many moons ago and it was a ap that gave you a host of places to visit while in LA.
– One of the best spots for pancakes is Salt’s Cure.
– Hollywood and Highland is the most foot traffic at area on planet earth.
– LA hot wings does a classic place to get your watch stolen.
– melrose is the best street to smell marijuana.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to all creatives & those that appreciate the arts. Specifically the youth of South LA & the Westside.
