Hi Adrian, what do you attribute your success to?
Passion. Authenticity. Once you find what makes you happy that’s all fuel you need. And always remember, it starts with self-love. You need to truly believe that you are deserving of more, & that your dreams are worth pursuing.

What should our readers know about your business?
Hi I’m Adrian Paul, owner and founder of Pride Beauty. We are a LGBTQ Latinx owned and operated small business. It started out of my love for makeup. I love what I do, and I love creating products that can help people express themselves & help them feel even more beautiful. I think in the world we live in today we often glamorize many things, we try to filter and make everything look like a picture perfect Instagram post. However, Starting a business is far from easy, you have to work really hard and truly love what you do, So much hard work needs to be done behind the scenes, especially when you have small team. I have achieved my goals by constantly pushing myself. As cliche as it sounds, The sky is the limit. All you have to do is believe in yourself and take the first step.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would 100% go to the beach and for a hike. Watching the sunrise and sunset are two of my favorite things to do. Malibu is my go to beach when I want to go lay in the sun and just soak up the good vibes.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to recognize the US Army. I recently graduated from Basic Combat Training and AIT, as I move forward in this next chapter in my life, I feel so blessed to be able to Keep challenging myself everyday and grow into the best version of myself. So, be brave enough to desire change, to chase after your dreams, and to love yourself. You are the author of your own story, and every chapter is an opportunity for growth, love, and boundless possibilities.
