Meet Aimée & Celine

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aimée & Celine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aimée & Celine, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
At a glance, it might seem like we’re just professional organizers who set up highly functional, beautiful organizing systems in people’s homes. While that’s true, there’s a lot more to it.
Our work is not just visual. It’s very emotional. People’s spaces can often reflect how they’re feeling inside. When you’re overwhelmed, anxious, avoidant and exhausted, it’s easy for your house to become disorganized. So when we complete projects, we know the positive emotional effect we’ve had on our clients.
We can feel how much weight has been lifted from their shoulders. We can sense how ready they are to settle into their newly improved space. And they tell us. Every time. They literally tell us that their mental health has improved. That their productivity and creativity have increased. That their relationship with their space has changed for the better.
That’s exactly the point. When your environment is chaotic, your mind follows. When it’s calm and functional, something shifts. Getting organized isn’t a luxury or a finishing touch, it’s a legitimate tool for mental wellness. People reach for talk therapy, exercise or retreats when they’re struggling, and those methods are great. But a clear, intentional space can do something those methods can’t: it meets you every single morning before you’ve done anything else. We believe organizing deserves a real seat at that table and our clients keep proving us right.

What should our readers know about your business?
We’re professional organizers and we craft fully bespoke, design-forward organizing solutions curated for Los Angeles-based creative professionals. We primarily work in LA but we do travel! We’re most proud of the profound effect we have on our clients’ mental health and the refined aesthetic we bring to every space.
Building the business has been really fun and rewarding. It hasn’t been totally easy, but one could never expect that from starting a business. Our challenges have been ideal: we had more work than we had bandwidth for. But now we’ve got some awesome associates that we work with so we can continue growing.
We’ve learned along the way that our friendship is our highest priority. We communicate effectively because we have a foundation of honesty and trust. Without our friendship, there would be no sort it out.
We want the world to know our process:
1. You reach out to us (email, website, DM, text, blimp)
2. We set up a short video call to introduce ourselves and make sure you’re not a serial killer
3. We come to your space for a walkthrough where we take photos, measurements and estimate the project timeline
4. We book the project with you and begin strategizing our plan and purchasing any necessary products
5. We execute the most impeccable organizing system that’s ever existed and it enhances your quality of life
6. You write us a 5 star review and refer us to 10 of your closest friends, family and colleagues

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First we’d take her to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and make her look at the rabbit mask from Donnie Darko for like 30 minutes. We would not allow her to visit any other exhibits until she spent the full 30 minutes looking at that mask.
Next we’d head across the street to the Petersen Automotive Museum. We’d say “look at these cars! Some are red. And other colors too.” We’d strongly suggest she get in the driver’s seat of one of the mint condition, one of a kind supercars. And she’d do it. Because she’s begging for our approval.
Obviously we’d visit the LA River for a quick dip. We’d notice she’d foolishly forgotten to bring her bathing suit so we just raw dog it, skinny dip style. Then we’d break into Equinox and take a hot shower while checking out some of the guys’ bodies. And we’d love what we were seeing.
As far as food, we’d probably hit up some local classics for lunch, like the guy selling fruit at the corner of Figueroa and Avenue 26. His fruits are fresh. And the limón adds a tangy surprise that’ll make any mouth water. For dinner, there’s a really good Chinese street food spot in Pasadena that we can’t remember the name of. But we’d get her there. We’d order the green beans. Those would be the only food options for the week.
On her last day, before sending her to LAX in a $150 Uber that we would not reimburse her for, we’d make sure she saw that silly Netflix billboard in West Hollywood on Sunset and Sweetzer. She’d say “wow.” That would conclude the trip. Upon her arrival back home she’d text us saying she had the best time. And we’d know she was telling the truth.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to shout out our friends! We’ve got an incredibly close-knit group of really sexy and smart women who have believed in us relentlessly since we started our LLC. They sing our praises to anyone who will listen and have garnered us quite a few clients via the words of their mouths. They hire us, too. They give us advice. They give us food. They listen to us and they love us unconditionally. That’s some crazy cool shit right there.
