We had the good fortune of connecting with Áine O’Regan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Áine, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Funny enough this is the one question I think everyone tries to strive for and perfect. I think over time, depending on what is currently going on in your life the way you balance out your life will reflect that. The answer is you can not perfect balance. It is a dance, a flow. Its on-going, readjusting, reevaluating your self, your needs, your goals. Nothing ever stays the same it always changes. For me personally before I became a teacher I used to take multiple yoga classes in a day. As I took on the roll of a teacher my personal practice took a back seat for awhile. I really toed the line of what I thought it meant to be a successful teacher in LA and burnout. Teaching at multiple studios throughout LA, teaching multiple classes in a day, leading teacher trainings, taking courses to continue my own education, on top of whatever life challenges in my personal life were being thrown at me as well. I used to believe that more on my plate equalled success. At certain points I felt like I was in the circus juggling and at any point it could all fall apart. And more often then not over the years, it did fall apart. I would have to let the balls fall, and when they did I had to look at it all laid out on the floor and ask myself, what do I really want? What is a must in my life, and what isn’t? Just like yoga just or any skill set in life it takes practice. Over the years Ive learned what my limit is, when I can push, and when I need to hold back. Balance is a daily practice.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe my ability to empathize with people, as well has my constant hunger for knowledge about my craft as well other topics that I am interested in sets me apart. As well as how dedicated I am to my clients and how deeply I care about them. There is so much to be excited about! I am currently finishing up my NASM CPT, as well as on May 9th I will have my RRCA ( road runners club of america) running coach certification so I am excited to expand my business and share my love of running and fitness with everyone!
I believe when you begin to go into business for your self, and you take on being an entrepreneur the path is never smooth, it is never easy. Its always a gamble, but thats part of the thrill of it! Along the way you have so many opportunities to learn about your self, to challenge yourself to grow! The best way to over come challenges is when they arise is to meet them head on, and to be humble. Every day is a new day to learn something new, not only about your self but about the world too. Life is our best teacher if we are only willing to learn from it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
wow where to even start…behind my success is an army of people. My family, not just immediate family of my mom Louise, my dad James, and my brother Emmett, but all of my aunts/uncles/cousins they are the backbone to my being. My best friend, my partner, the love of my life, Trevor. He has been by my side through it all, the good times and the bad. My teachers and my mentors..there are too many. I have taken over 15 certifications and trainings and the knowledge that has been shared to me as influenced who I am and my teaching. Lastly but certainly not least is my therapist Cara, she has influenced me in ways that I can not explain. I am eternally grateful for each person that has come into my life and left an imprint, and continues to influence me daily. I am a reflection of the great people in my life.
