We had the good fortune of connecting with Akasirius and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Akasirius, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Fashion styling has taught me that every person has a unique style. Everyone can dress differently and express themselves in various ways, whether through maximalism or minimalism, using vibrant colors or neutral tones. As a fashion stylist, I’ve learned to appreciate and respect these differences. Even if someone’s style doesn’t align with my personal taste, I’ve come to respect their choices. Additionally, fashion stylists must be adept at understanding and adapting to how different individuals typically dress. When you see a style I’ve created, you can be assured that it was certainly made by me while outstanding and respecting my client’s preferences and individuality.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my creativity. When it comes to showcasing outfits of the day as a content creator, I strive to make each presentation unique and captivating, aiming to create something visually stunning and engaging. I’m particularly proud of my ability to work independently and efficiently, as ideas often come to me spontaneously, and I can bring them to life without needing assistance.

Although collaborating with someone who shares the same passion can be wonderful, I find immense satisfaction in my solo efforts. I’m still at the beginning of my journey, so I can’t fully assess its ease or difficulty, but I am thoroughly enjoying the process. It’s something I love and dedicate much of my time to each day, so I have no complaints.

One challenge I face is reaching a larger audience, as maintaining a significant follower base is tough. However, I’ve learned that my motivation shouldn’t be about follower numbers. Instead, it should come from my love for fashion and art. I want people to see that there are individuals like me who are deeply passionate about art and find immense joy in it. There’s always a creative way to achieve anything, and for me, art is the ultimate solution.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take my friends to Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Hollywood Boulevard, Beverly Hills, and Griffith Observatory. While there are many fantastic spots within the city, there are also incredible places around and outside of LA. For instance, Laguna Beach boasts some of the best beaches in Orange County.

In LA, I would take them to the hotel lobby of the International Hotel, which offers stunning views for free. We would also visit a boba place like It’s Boba Time and check out some nightclubs in West Hollywood for a fun night out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It’s interesting that you’re asking this question, as I’ve recently been reflecting on what has brought me to where I am today. I believe one of the most significant influences on who I am today is my parents. My dad has always dressed in colorful and eccentric clothes, completely unbothered by what others might think. My mom, on the other hand, continually encourages me to pursue anything I want. Both of them have always supported me and pushed me to explore new things. Their liberal and open-minded attitudes have profoundly shaped my perspective, making me open to trying new experiences and expressing myself freely, including through fashion.

Additionally, I’ve been incredibly fortunate with the opportunities I’ve had throughout my life. My interest in fashion was largely sparked by video games, particularly those where you dress up your character. I would spend more time on the styling aspect than actually playing the game, thanks to my brother, who introduced me to video games.
