We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander Mei and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexander, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
There’s no way that I could separate my healing arts and music/voice.

I’ve been studying singing as long as I’ve been studying various techniques to release trauma /belief systems since I was 9 years old.

For example, I was singing at a festival a week ago and someone came up to me and told me that he had a spasm going in his leg and when he heard me sing on stage his leg started twitching and then he could walk again.

I never even told him I was a healer .

That’s even more confirmation for me to never separate the creative and the healing arts.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a guide, intuitive, reiki master, and energetic clearing expert. Though activations are where he thrives in helping those that want to move in to a more comprehensive reality of reaching their fullest potential and deeper understanding themselves and their relationship to their environment.

What sets me apart from others is my real ness.

I never sugar cost anything or pander when I know I need to say something or press upon something that really needs to be dealt with .

In the beginning I was very afraid of how people would perceive me or judge me for the amount of self work I do personally or the shadow work I do with my clients .

After awhile I realized that more then anything just being yourself and being willing to be authentically vulnerable with others actually is a catalyst for change and inspires them as well.

Over time , my practice has grown immensely and I’m beyond grateful.

The challenges are BOUNDARIES.

For example , some people think that once they pay you for services that means that you owe them something and they can say whatever they want to you in a bed side manner .

This is a red flag .

Paying for services doesn’t mean you can disrespect the practitioner .

You have to understand that once the session is over you have to pull back and let them know that you are done.

However, I’ve made some amazing friends who were my clients first .

In terms of awareness you really have to gauge that and it’s up to you whether you want to be more connected to that person or not .

I’m so proud that I came to Los Angeles with only a small amount of money and literally created my life from NOTHING.

I got to where I am today from never giving up on myself.

Most people give up or they aren’t willing to be malleable .

I threw myself into the fires of LA and really gave it my all and I just knew that if I kept going at it that it would bear fruit .

Everything just keeps getting better and better .

I might have all these healing techniques under my belt and an amazing singing voice , but it’s because I BELIEVE in myself more then anything .

You have to believe .

Maybe you need to fake it till you make it in the beginning , but once you get the self -confidence and your connection to God/Universe/Source moving inside and out nothing can stop you .

I want everyone reading this to know you can create and accomplish anything no matter how many challenges you face.

You are your biggest critic .

You are also the greatest piece of art you’ll ever create in your lifetime .

You only get in the way of yourself .

Don’t get confused and think it’s others that stifle you .

You are the master of your reality and once you choose to have that awareness and execute the actions you need to do in order to have an amazing life…Well…

Life is yours !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would def take them to the beach every other day in Venice and walk them around to see the sights .

Also, I’m an amazing cook so I would be cooking for them daily .

Also, my favorite vegan Thai place called Salaya is literally one minute from my apartment so we’ would be ordering from there if I ever get lady and don’t feel like cooking .

All of my friends are amazing so I’d def introduce them to some of my best friends (who are also business partners) as well as take them somewhere to dance .

You can’t invite someone to Los Angeles and NOT dance ! Haha!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to credit my friend Jósa Goodlife (Vanamallika) for helping me understand kindness again in the world.

Josa and I met when I was starting to become bitter and jaded due to what has been going on globally during the pandemic .

Her kindness and open hearted ness is sorely lacking and she inspires me daily to be sweet and vulnerable with others even if they’ve disrespected me or have been rude to me.

She’s honestly legendary ..
