We had the good fortune of connecting with Ali Sabet and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ali, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
One thing about NFT that outsiders are not aware of is that art collectors in this space are not just focused on buying art that can increase in value. First and foremost, they create digital collections that they love. This could be a piece from an artist that is well known or one that they have never heard about on the other side of the world. This is the amazing part of NFT and how it will change the art world forever.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Many of my paintings include beautiful and confident women with my signature large eyes, long lashes and defined lips. They also my “love script.” Many have noted my work includes the strength and beauty of feminine energy and healing energy. I love using Japanese brushes, sumi ink and vibrant colors to create designs that inspire hope, compassion, perseverance and love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Melrose is amazing. I also love the Beverly Center. I have a lot of memories of growing up near there. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ve learned a lot from the incredible people I’ve had the opportunity to meet. An art collector named Spencer Brown showed me the importance of building and connecting with my online tribe. I have a special connection to my social media community and collectors and they know that I am working night and day to create work that inspires love, hope and healing. I think this importance of community is also what helped me in the NFT digital space. Through an app called Clubhouse, I am able to connect and collaborate with fellow artists and collectors. Collectors can be on a call with the artist and understand the thought process of a particular piece of art they love and ask questions directly. Artists can also hear how their work touches a collector and share their appreciation for their support. t’s truly incredible.
