We had the good fortune of connecting with Alysia VIllalpando and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alysia, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
Leaving a job that was my dream job ever since I started shaping brows. I was miserable & it was not good for my mental or emotional health.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a licensed esthetician & have been shaping brows for 12 years. 10 years later into my career I found myself at my dream job working side by side with Anastasia Beverly Hills at her salon in Los Angeles. I decided it was not for me & found myself focusing on my own business again. That was what made me the happiest. The lessons Ive learned along the way is never give up on what you truly love doing. Never under sell yourself. What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that I always follow my heart, and I genuinely love to make women feel empowered & beautiful.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting myself in Long Beach… We would drink at Ballast Point Brewery Eat at Babmboo Club, Lolas, & The Pot Holder We would Camp in San Onofre Hike in Palos Verdes Go to Rosies Dog Beach Rent a duffy boat in the Marina
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My clients who have always supported me.
