Hi Amoni T., do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Zora Neale Hurston once said, “Jump at the sun. You might not land on the sun, but at least you’ll get off the ground.” Not only does this quote emphasize the importance of starting, but shines a light on dreaming without limitations. This quote has been at the forefront of my entrepreneurial and professional successes. I am a strong believer of reaching for the stars because everything you want in this world is attainable with a little tenacity. Dreaming as big as possible is crucial so that even if it does not look the way you envisioned, you at least got further than expected.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Bosí Collections (@bosi_co) started in 2019, unintentionally. The business was initiated due to my love of Lashes and Glasses. With an inventory of only 25 items, I started by selling the collection off of my face in college . After realizing I could turn my lifestyle into profit, our team hosted an official launch in 2020. We were on a mission to elevate the self confidence of those all around us. As we continued to elevate, our product inventory expanded with self care products and a boss essential clothing collection. After helping young professionals create businesses of their own using the Bosí business model, I recently released All Things Professional (@atp_corp), labeling myself a serial business strategist. This has been the most challenging aspect of my entrepreneurial experience. Selling a product has always come easy as a business student, but implementing programs based on other people’s vision takes more time and patience. Creating a sustainable structure and being well organized have been my saving grace. What I have learned along the way is that nothing can be accomplished without a loyal team. Without our brand ambassadors, creative team, and loyal clients our growth would not be possible. We will continue to motivate the world to elevate their inner boss and connect professional dreams to reality.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a week to show my visiting friend around LA, the first thing I would do is take them to the Observatory for an early morning walk. After we could stop by the spa for massages and a salt room relaxation session. For the next few days, a beach tour is essential; stopping by Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina, Dockweiler, and Hermosa. Towards the end of the week, we are going to go to the Museum of Art and then check out the new Hip Hop til Infinity digital experience. In the final days, we would go to The District for an amazing brunch and at night head to Crypto Arena for drinks, bowling, and see if there is a game to catch.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I cannot contribute who I am today to my efforts alone. My mother has given me nothing but amazing support and created a space for me to believe in myself with no boundaries. Secondly, I would love to show my appreciation to my grandmother who implemented the hardworking boss values into me. Whenever I even got close to falling, my trailblazers were there to pick me up.
