We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrew, how do you think about risk?
Risk, for me, is vulnerability.

Every day presents a new obstacle. To take it on as a positive challenge is what life is all about. “A happy heart makes a face cheerful.” (Proverbs 15:13) I’m going as far as I believe.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is an expression of my life. I like to act out challenging, sometimes conflicted, characters. During the course of my life I’ve encountered my share of trials and tribulations; that’s how I got to where I am today. Failure can make or break you. I aim to set myself apart by having fun, leading with love, and having a freedom of expression. I’ve overcome challenges in my life by not letting the word “no” affect my outcome. A lesson I’ve learned along the way? Seek to understand. Be authentic. Redefine expectations and break through all mental barriers in the process. Most importantly, gratitude is the greatest multiplier. I don’t have to do this, I get to do this!

My brand and team are here to inspire, have fun and take risks. We’re here to live life unapologetically, valuing purpose over pleasure. We’re here to explore. We’re here to pioneer. We’re here to live!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to the botanical gardens, an art exhibit, to the ocean, to the Santa Monica Malibu mountains and to a place of their choice. I would also want to take them to a place that both of us have never been.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Anyone pursuing their own integrity relentlessly deserves credit and recognition. Also, shoutout to my Lord and Savior — with You all things are possible.
