We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Santa Cruz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cindy, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
This is a hard question. And life being an entrepreneur is filled with a lot of pressure but, you never give up. When you know you have a good product or service… you can never give up. Now, not everyone is going to love what you have to offer but, until you’ve turned over every stone and shook every tree, you must keep going. Someone somewhere needs what you have. The one thing, for me, that keeps me going are all the positive emails, text messages, reviews, and social media notes from the women that have used Lady Patch. Hearing their stories of how this “Tiny But Mighty’ patch has changed their lives and given them back their freedom… that’s my fuel!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
One out of three women leak a little pee. And most won’t admit it. About 15 million women in America have Stress Urinary Incontinence (when you leak pee when you laugh, cough, sneeze or jump). About 36% of women in America between 20 and 45 have Urge Urinary Incontinence (also called Over Active Bladder- when you suddenly have an uncontrollable urge to pee).

Lady Patch tackles a taboo subject with a taboo solution!

Lady Patch is the only drug free patch that stops bladder leaks and the frequent urge to pee… at the same time! AKA ~mom bladder. Lady Patch is FDA approved and California FDB approved. Most products out there are prescribed by your doctor and may have side effects. Lady Patch is drug free and over the counter.

Like most entrepreneurs that are trying to make a positive impact in the world, Lady Patch has had some definite highs and some crazy lows. It’s all been worth it!

Lady Patch is a labor of love for me at this point. I just hope to help as many women as I can.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Pre CoVid: Day 1) Griffith Observatory then off to the Perch for a rooftop dinner
Day 2) Dodgers game then to Pink’s Hot Dogs for a Pastrami Reuben Dog and celeb pics!
Day 3) Manhattan Beach Pier and shopping then appetizers and drinks at Shellback Tavern.
Day 4) Olvera St! Tacos, drinks, Mariachi and folklorico dancing!
Day 5) Sky Room in Long Beach for a beautiful view of the Queens Necklace of lights, dinner and Big Band swing and jazz music. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There have been many people on this journey that I have learned from. My family has been an encouraging voice every step of the way. But, by far, the two people that deserve a ton of credit are Suzanne Senglemann and Eric Weider. From the get go, they believed in me.
