Meet Andrew Sampson

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Sampson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to build a marketing company that gave businesses more personal attention and real results instead of cookie-cutter strategies. After spending years in digital marketing, I saw an opportunity to create something more hands-on, honest, and focused on helping local businesses grow. At the same time, I wanted to create something amazing for me and my family, a family business that we can all contribute to.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
DigiYield Marketing was built around the idea that every business deserves a marketing strategy that actually fits their goals instead of a simple flat tiered approach. What sets us apart is that we stay hands-on with our clients and focus on real relationships, honest communication, and measurable growth.
Getting to this point definitely was not easy, and there were a lot of long nights, trial and error, and moments where I had to figure things out as I went. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency and treating people right goes a long way, and I want people to know that DigiYield Marketing is a brand built on hard work, creativity, and genuinely wanting to help businesses succeed. I live by the motto that if you are good to people, they will be good to you. And that makes for a fulfilling life and business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If one of my best friends was visiting for a week, I’d definitely show them the unique life and the local hidden gems around Corona and Norco. We’d have to start with a horse back ride in Norco, right on the trails that are next to all of the streets in the city. We would go to Norco Brewing for a drink, and watch a football game at the nationally ranked Centennial High School. I’d probably take them to places like Tom’s Farms in Corona, go fishing at Prado Lake, and maybe even head out for a beach day since we’re not too far from Newport. We’d also check out my favorite local coffee shop, Deep Barrel.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would give a lot of credit to my family and the people who supported me when I decided to take the risk of starting my own business. I also learned a lot from past clients, mentors, and other business owners who showed me the value of hard work, consistency, and treating people the right way.
