We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariella Israel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ariella, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My initial thought process was me being able to inspire the younger generations to potentially follow in my footsteps. Growing up and even until this day I have people coming to me as though there’s no future In What I’m pursuing, but I’m going to show them better than I can tell them. There is a future in the Visual Arts field all it takes is you believing in the talents God gave you.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my unique ability to capture details in my paintings. Learning new skills and seeing them manifest makes me the most excited. As I embark on this journey of increasing my skill set, it gets scary at first but knowing the outcome makes me want to try and never give up. My journey to where I am today was not easy, it was the exact opposite to say the least. My biggest obstacle was overcoming the doubt I had in my own mind. You can hear a thousand times how great you’re doing or how great your work is, if you don’t believe it yourself it means absolutely nothing. Through studying the Bible, I learned everyone has a purpose and I asked myself since I knew mine, was I fulfilling it. With much prayer and meditating I’ve learned to overcome it. Thee Creator started when I decided to walk in my purpose. I wanted to show myself that could do it and I could create these masterpieces others would marvel at, while I inspire others they can follow their dreams no matter how small they think they are. I was created to create and that’s my story.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would first check into the “21 C Museum Hotel”, yes a hotel that’s a museum. Our first day would be filled with a spa day and rooftop dinner. The second day we’re spending at fountain square ice skating and grabbing a bite to eat from burgerfi. The third day we’re staying in binge watching horror films and snacking on pizza from mellow mushroom. The forth day we’re at Main Event playing laser tag, going bowling, rock climbing and more. The fifth day we’re trying out the escape room challenge followed by Full Throttle go-kart track and some good ole Conscious kitchen. The sixth day we can go shop at the outlet mall and the seventh day we’re resting. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, I would like to thank God for gifting me with my talents and my parents for being the biggest influencers of my art. I’m really inspired by young entrepreneurs like myself and my fellow artist. There are a couple artist I will name that has been a big influence on my career, Markus Prime and Brionya James.
