We had the good fortune of connecting with Averiel Blair and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Averiel, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I come from a family of Barbers Cosmetologist and Tailors so I always knew that it was in my blood to do something creative and when I finally went to barber school it really clicked for me.
What should our readers know about your business?
As a Barber I strive to elevate myself in my field. I love what I do so I am constantly learning more ways to be better at that. I am better everyday I pick up the Clippers.
Also I have a small business I create and sell beard oils, beard shampoos hair oils and much more as a business owner I and working to create better products that is organic, natural and that actually works. I’ve learned that there are always people skeptical of what you bring to the table and my job is to show them that my products is the Truth and once you use them you’ll love them just as much as I do.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ofcourse the Hollywood Blvd, Sunset strip Beverly Hills Drive would be first I’m originally from Florida by way of Jamaica so I’m still excited that I’m even here.
Then we would we would take a trip to Orange county its one of my favorite places to just vibe out. They bars and restaurants by the beach are always lit.
Then we would either stay down that way or make our way back to the city where mansion parties.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
