We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca W and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have some interests outside of my actual day job and with everything going on in the world I figured, why not?! My friends have always joked with me that they get their entertainment news and updates from me and YouTube just seemed like a fun way to get my voice out there.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m still in the learning phase of the YouTube game. I have fun watching videos on editing and learning how to transition my visuals as I’m speaking about a particular subject. It’s been an interesting process learning to understand the analytics behind my channel and make decisions based on that as far as when to upload and what type of audience I am building. It’s still pretty new so there aren’t really many challenges other than just understanding the algorithm and where my content fits in.

My current YouTube channel is focused on entertainment news stories but I would like to start a second channel focusing on nail art as well. I’ve found that when I do my nails and am out and about, I always get compliments on them and a lot of women would love to know what I do. Eventually I want to create my own nail polish and accessories line.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Orlando, Florida which is my hometown. I actually just moved back after about 13 years in the Tampa Bay area. I love to go out to eat. There’s a nice winery called Cooper’s Hawk with great food and drinks. Another place I that I love is called Dixie Crossroads which is a seafood restaurant in Titusville, which is about 40 mins from Orlando. They are famous for their rock shrimp which are delicious. Orlando also has an entertainment plaza called ICON Park with restaurants and attractions which is fun as well. There is a huge enclosed ferris wheel there called “The Wheel at ICON Park” which great! You can take a group of friends with you, hook up your phone to bluetooth and have fun while enjoying some dope views of the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely want to shout out my YouTube homies that have helped me find my voice and the confidence to put it out there. N from New York aka Get N Fit, Blackk GMS, and AP of the 3G’s Podcast. They have all influenced me and given me tips on this game and it’s appreciated more than they know. They’ve also shouted me out to their audiences which are larger than mine. They never had to do that, but they did and it means a lot.

N, in particular, is one that I had a podcast with. Though we didn’t continue the podcast, he pulled me from his audience and put me next to him as a partner and I will never forget that.
