We had the good fortune of connecting with Bonnie Hussey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bonnie, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Figuring out a creative solution to a problem makes me happy. I love being given a set of parameters and creating something beautiful within constraints.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey has been serpentine. I started in art school and tried out a bunch of different specialties in art and design with different stops on my path along the way. It wasn’t easy but it also wasn’t hard. It all feels like it was part of the journey. I’d just like to make small corners of the world more beautiful

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d probably end up at some estate sales or flea markets, eating a lot of different food, maybe check out a museum, and go on some hikes
