We had the good fortune of connecting with Brigiite Valadez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brigiite, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is my ability to maintain a positive attitude! I believe that people absorb and transfer energy to each other. Positive energy = happier, more productive people

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I think what sets me apart from other Producer/Directors in the content world is my optimism and my willingness to work hard!

I am so grateful for the rollercoaster ride my career has taken me on! I’ve been able to make great memories and learn so many life lessons thanks to the many different positions I’ve held. I got to where I am professionally because I am not afraid to take on new challenges. I am a “YES” person both professionally and personally.

I’m most proud of the friendships I’ve developed with people I’ve worked with. Work turns into fun when working with friends!

I want the community to know that I am a child of immigrants who worked hard, hustled and appreciated every opportunity that was given to her. If you want it bad enough, you can make anything happen too!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

EAT: Gracias Madre for the Vegan Mexican food, El Cholo for the margarita pitchers or Sugarfish for the sushi!

DRINK: Clifton’s Republic for the atmosphere, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s for the mixed cocktails and grilled shrimp sandwiches, Lares for the micheladas and Big Deans for sports games!

VISIT: Griffith Park for the hike and the views, Venice boardwalk for a bike ride and Zoomars at River Street Ranch in the OC for the llamas!

HANG OUT: Ocean View Park in Santa Monica, Pasadena Flea Market and Descanso Gardens.

DANCE: BEFORE COVID: Townhouse in Venice, AFTER COVID: Looking for recs!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My dad deserves a LOT of credit in my story. When I was younger, I would roll my eyes profusely at his life advice. Now as an adult, I’m grateful he gave it! He taught us to hustle, work hard and save our money. I dedicate my shoutout to him! ¡Gracias Dad!
