We had the good fortune of connecting with Caleb Hansford (CDUPR3) and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Caleb, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My process was to see what was lacking in music and how I could contribute to making a difference. I moved to Los Angeles in 2015 as a drummer with much experience but wanted more out of music. I wanted to challenge myself and see if I had the skill and creative mind to produce and artist develop. I felt music was lacking creativity and had become stagnant so I journeyed to find my sound in which I combine storytelling within a mainstream (R&B, Pop, Hip Hop) production using orchestral hits with dramatic synths and strings.The intent is to pull every emotion out of the listener.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am Music Producer / Entrepreneur with the focus on (Production, Artist Development and Branding) What makes me unique with my production is that I can create in any genre and have a gift of remixing current music. I’ve remixed Post Malone, The Weeknd, Selena Gomez and Kanye (Un-Officially) I grew up around talent as my father who formerly pastored in New Jersey, is a gospel singer. I attended Eastern Christian School with Joe Jonas (Jonas Brothers) who inspired me to take my talents to Cali. I currently have a new single out “VIBR8ION” and also have projects in the works with DeStorm Power, Angelica Ross Marieme and more. My previous projects have been with Adidas (Drummer/Cast) Splice (Artist Partnership through JammCard) and Art Basel (Invited to present company RariTKicks at Spectrum and Red Dot) with Playboi Carti, PJ Kev, Jeezy and We The Best showing support. Doing this was not easy but I continue to overcome by learning things outside of music which inspires more creativity. I’ve learned your Network is your Net-worth and talent always prevails. It’s always best to create timeless music. I’d like the world to know that I value my product and will provide the best service when it comes to getting the right sound.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s a tricky one!! Lol. I really like Down-Town. It encompasses art with music all across the area. So Down-Town is a must go to for sure.!!
