Meet Carl Anderson | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carl Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carl, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
After leaving the mental health field I wanted to still interact with people and help create great memories for people. Being a wedding and event photographer I get a chance to do that and it’s a great feeling seeing a moment that no one might not even know exist and I see it and “click”! Then once the family she’s the images and they start smiling or even tearing up my job is done!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One thing I do is talk to my clients. My initial consultation goes in depth so I can get to know who I am shooting. This way I can bring their vision to life. Just knowing that I was able to make them smile or create a “WOW FACTOR” that makes them keep coming back again and again.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Long Beach! I lived in Long Beach for a bunch of years and I shoot down there A LOT! There is so many amazing scenes in short distance.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to give a shout out to my team Rendell and Don for always having my back and helping us roll like the 2009 Lakers!! I also would like to shout out my folks from “The Spot” who have always supported me and sent work my way. Last but not least my regular clients that will hire us for all their photography and video needs.
