We had the good fortune of connecting with Caroline Pinal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caroline, how do you think about risk?
I love a good thrill, an adrenaline kick, a giant swan dive into the unknown. Risk is essential to uncovering unforeseen potential and every risk I’ve taken, so far, has alchemized into a bold life and very fulfilling work. The greatest reward in taking risks is that whether you win or learn, you will undoubtedly inspire someone else.
What should our readers know about your business?
If you’re looking to buy or sell a home, please consider a Giveback Homes real estate agent : ) We work with the best real estate agents and companies to help turn their business into an opportunity for social good. They donate and volunteer to help provide safe housing to families in need, both in Central America and across the U.S. I’m most proud of the Build Trips we lead, where we actually take volunteers to help build homes. If you’ve ever wanted to do that, feel free to reach out.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Manhattan Beach. Bonus points if you see the guy with eight frenchies or the pot-bellied pig. Stop and watch the surfers in El Porto.
Grab lunch from Poulet Du Jour in Hermosa (if they’re not arguing with each other behind the counter, then you didn’t get the full experience) or Un Caffe Altamura, a lovely, new, spot in Manhattan Beach and it’s an absolute vibe.
Let’s golf at the Westdrift or Terranea. Hopefully Wais is playing at Nelson’s and we stay for sunset. Catch any game or concert at the Sofi stadium. It’s gorgeous.
Walk past Nando’s and say hi to Dario who is always there to greet you and make you feel like you’re actually in Italy. Eat, drink, stay a while.
I’m in my thirties so things like the chiropractor and maintaining my health are super important to keep me in tip-top shape. We’d have to get adjusted at Bates Chiropractic and visit my doctor friends at Apex Medicine to ensure we’re in the best health and we stay that way for as long as possible.
