We had the good fortune of connecting with Charline Zeroual and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charline, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

Yes, it is! My Personal Styling Business is all about helping women look and feel their best with the fundamentals of personal styling while focusing on a more conscious approach to fashion consumption.

2 years ago, after moving from NYC to LA, I decided to focus on sustainable fashion.  As a personal stylist, I use clothing every day to make my clients feel and look good, this is why I decided to use my voice as a style expert to create and promote awareness around conscious styling.

Through my Conscious Styling Process, I teach my clients the importance of wearing what they already have, shopping less, and shopping better while showing them some great sustainable alternatives to fast fashion.

The styling experiences I offer are all about bringing changes into the American wardrobes to make a positive impact on the environment.

What should our readers know about your business?

I am a French sustainable wardrobe stylist, based in Los Angeles who moved from France to the US eleven years ago. I am also a mompreneur of three little ones.

I am a strong believer that the clothing you wear can affect your moods and emotions. If you feel good about yourself, you will be able to send the best image of yourself to the world.

Six years ago, I decided to leave my marketing career to focus on my passions for people and styling to help women feel beautiful and confident.

As a personal stylist, I am dedicated to helping women everywhere benefit from the fundamentals of personal styling. I’ve helped many women of all silhouettes and life stages—each with unique needs and tastes. And I have seen first-hand what a boost personal styling can be for self-image and confidence. I’m so honored to provide a service that is truly transformative!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

For shopping. I will take her/him to Venice – this is the only neighborhood in LA where you can find multiple sustainable brands/stores and small authentic shops in the same location. I also love the Venice Antiques & Collectibles, and the Flea Market.

For fresh air and breathtaking views, I will drive to the spectacular Topanga State Park to hike the Eagle Rock Trail.

For dinner, I will take her/him to Le Petit Paris for a French brasserie dining experience in Downtown LA.

For Sunday Brunch, we will spend the day at The Malibu Cafe

Finally, we will make sure to visit The Stahl House for One of the most beautiful views in LA.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

I joined The Elles Collective, a Francophone organization and community of Business Women in the USA last year during the pandemic. Sharing my vision, receiving feedback, and getting support from other women really helped me take my business to the next level.

“Building a story brand” by Donald Miller is a book that also helped me clarify, energize, and transform my business.
