We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Lois and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
The most important thing I’ve done for my child is given her a voice and the ability to explore freely. I had, and still have so much anxiety over if I am succeeding or falling behind, comparing myself, and hating my body. Breaking generational curses has proven to be tough, but I refuse to start my little with the challenges and mindsets that I had to overcome. I tell her that she is worthy, strong, beautiful, and a gift every single day. She will grow up feeling secure and loved. That is the most important thing I have done, and probably my biggest accomplishment to date.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a lifestyle creator with a focus on food, travel, and mom life. I started this as a hobby when I was going through terrible postpartum depression. It gave me an outlet and a voice. I think that’s really what sets me apart from other creators. I’m almost too honest. I don’t boost my content, use filters, or use nefarious means to draw people in. Love me, hate me, I honestly do not care. I’m grateful for everyone who is here for the journey, and for everyone else, don’t let the door hit you on the way out too hard. It hasn’t been easy, especially because when you are more real, people expect to know every detail about your life. That’s where boundaries come in. It’s fine to know my ice cream order, but not the name of my daughter. I think I’ve learned that a lot of social media is not what it seems. Very man behind the curtain types of things going on. To others pursuing their dream: Stay true to yourself and your brand. I always say to cheer for others or don’t be surprised when your own stadium is empty. My brand is built on honesty, support, and saying exactly what I mean. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m a nice coupe of Veuve Clicquot for those who appreciate me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh wow-here we go. To eat: Arden Weho, Sugarfish, Shorebird (the views are unmatched), Splashes in Laguna, Perch in LA for the views and vibes. I think the LACMA is a staple at night for photo ops. Definitely a Disney day because it’s iconic. Vibrato Jazz Bar and Grill is always a good time and all the drinks are on point. You have to check out the beaches in Laguna and Huntington, and a walk along the pier in Newport is always a must. Inkwell Tavern in Burbank has some of the best food and bartenders around. I love to hang out at coffee shops so definitely Communitea Coffee in Brea, as well as Still Coffee and Treats. Any of the places featured on my page. I truly love every single collaboration I’ve done. If you’re flying in or out of LA, definitely Sonesta LAX. The dining and overall experience is amazing. I love hiking and museums, so The Getty is a must.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My little and my husband. They have been my everything. I am a hard person to love and to get along with at times, but I wake up happy every day just knowing they are there. Also, shout out to being a proud member of the hospitality industry. It has taught me kindness, patience, and a love for everyone in it
