Meet Dani Wieczorek | Artist & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Wieczorek and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dani, what do you want your legacy to be?
Radical self-love and acceptance. Society constantly imposes unrealistic expectations, distorting how we perceive ourselves and our worth, making the simple act of being fully, freely, and unapologetically a struggle. Self-love feels like an unattainable luxury. I want to change that narrative and be remembered as someone who helped others reconnect with the beauty and strength within themselves, especially when it comes to loving their bodies.
I hope my work, my words, and my way of living remind people that their bodies are not battlegrounds but homes deserving of care, respect, and gratitude. Through art, storytelling, and human connection, I want to create safe spaces and facilitate healthy dialogue where people can breathe easier, feel seen, and find the courage to celebrate themselves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When I look back on my achievements, I recognise a strong desire to make things happen, driven by the belief that everything is possible. I owe that to my parents, who raised me to believe I could do anything I wanted. It was their tool to distance me from prejudice and build confidence. Discipline and focus kept me on top of my commitments, while passion was the energy that pushed me when things were too hard.
As a producer, I learned that it’s all about problem-solving and how creative you can be. How you treat your collaborators also reflects on how the project journey will be and what kind of results you will get. Currently, I am leading the production of PRESENTE!, an independent documentary that follows the journey of Brazilian Black female political and community leaders in their fight for human rights, and developing an experimental art film, All Eyes On Me, which is my love letter to prejudice and self-love.
With art, it’s all about the heart. My artistic journey is rooted in healing and personal evolution. Art gives me permission to express my existence authentically and unfiltered. It is my honest way to get in touch with my emotions and explore ways to turn my experiences into profound reflections on life and society. My debut includes two photoseries: I Am a Piece of Art, which celebrates self-love and the beauty of unalike bodies, and Livre Leve Solta, which claims the freedom of the female form.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
An earlier morning hike up to the Griffith Observatory. Brunch at Loupiotte Kitchen, in Los Feliz. Some book shopping at The Last Book Store DTLA (stop at the art collection and don’t blame me if you can’t leave). A beer and some games at Angel City. The Alessia course for dinner at La Puglia, Santa Monica. And a yin yoga class at Modo Yoga, to magically close the day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We don’t do anything alone in this life. I have many beautiful humans to thank for my journey, and it is hard to choose just one but I am especially grateful for the women in my family, who raised me to be a strong independent woman and fight for the things I believe.
