We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel McCarty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

Before starting my business, I was helping people advance their knowledge in the digital asset space. This was October 2021, so many people were looking to get into crypto. Day in and day out, I assisted close friends and then their friends daily. Everyone at this time wanted to get into cryptocurrency and the digital asset space. At that time, I was helping anyone who asked for assistance because I could recall my difficulties when I first got into Crypto. My goal was to be the person I wish had helped me when I first got into Crypto. It reached the point where I was helping so many people gain fundamental knowledge in the digital asset space. My wife pointed out all the time it was taking away from the family and that I should make it official. Well, that is what I went on to do in creating Crypto Made Simple LLC.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When I think of my business, what sets “Crypto Made Simple LLC” apart from the others? We break down what most educated professionals cannot from a delivery and engagement standpoint. I feel so many people are more polished and mature in this asset class. Yet they do not have the knack for onboarding people into the digital asset space (Crypto, NFTs, Web3, and Metaverse like me. Ever since I can remember, I have been able to take what is confusing or technical to others and make it simple. My math teachers always got upset when I showed the students a more straightforward way to find the answer; never would I have imagined turning that into a business. It is gratifying when I have prior students who barely knew anything weeks ago and now are reaching out with their successes in this space. A huge lesson I learned along the way is that everything happens for a reason. As cliche as it may sound, it is the TRUTH! What is meant for you is meant for you! When it is your time, you will get what is rightfully yours; all you must do is keep moving forward and progressing. Everyone in the world deserves an opportunity to learn, especially those seeking fundamentals towards financial freedom.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I am in the city, I am much like a tourist, and our daily itinerary consists of. Starting at The Griddle for some delicious breakfast; I love pancakes. We would then hit the Pier in Santa Monica while relaxing on the beach. The entree at dinner would have to be a medium plus steak from Mastro’s steakhouse for dinner. It would be back to the suite at the Four Seasons Hotel to unwind and relax. Some of the most interesting people I have met while in LA are those within the DeFi community.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Wife! The person I would most definitely shout out is my wife, as much as she says that I am her “rock” or an excellent support system. If that’s the case, she is my “skeleton” because my wife supports me with every moment of my life. There would be no Crypto Made Simple LLC if it weren’t for her, 100% hands down. She is my most outstanding attribute. She and I are alphas and highly ambitious people of our own accord. Whether she knows it or not, she is the leading motivating factor for me after seeing all the work she puts into her non-profit organization (Unorthodox Therapy Inc).
