Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I advise women in business and brands on the importance of being Relatable, Intentional and Authentic with their Presence.My name is Diedre Curry. I am a Professional Shit Talker empowering women to own their Presence.I use to believe that I needed permission or approval of others in order to do something that was outside of what was consider normal. I found myself constantly playing small when it came to who I was and what I stood for. I stayed in relationships longer after they expired. Settled in jobs or business partnerships that did not serve me or align with my core values. I waited for other people to validate me  before I would go after everything I wanted for myself. Who I was no longer lives here. Looking back on where I started, this was nothing but resilience. It was hard because I had to unlearn everything about me that no longer served a purpose. I had to learn how to pour from my overflowing which is an ongoing commitment. I had to learn what it means to be a vessel and how my story can free the person next to me. I learned that you have to be in the business of you. Who you are is POPPIN.. Lean into it and own it. I am also so excited about how WomenwhoThriive is going to become a Global Media Company helping female entrepreneurs strategically position themselves so their presence and purpose can link up. Lastly launching a Non-profit with my co founder Janae Harris Called “Sis, you Got Next” creating space for women to elevate their NetWorth.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So the first thing we are going to do is brunch. I will cook up some seasoned potatoes, shrimp and grits, turkey sausage and mimosa. After brunch we are going wine tasting. My new favorite gem Ziveli Winery, the whole experience is an experience. After wine tasting we will be heading out to dinner. Location will very on mood of Food. We can head downtown to the rooftop Quail State. Sunday wrap up the weekended at brunch at Campagnia

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost GOD. For always making space for me to show up in my purpose even at times when I was scared of where it would take me. I would like to shout out Shameka B. I remembered when I first started my purpose walk and I was so caught up in if I could do it and she told me just go for it. I have not looked back since. I would also like to shout out Angela Crawford. She has been my Rich Auntie from a far. Every couple of months we check in and her words, encouragement and prayers are unmatched, I am so thankful for you. I also would like to shout out Iesha Jones. Thank you for always showing up for me, listen to every business idea, investing in to my purpose and touching and agreeing.
