We had the good fortune of connecting with Dominique Smack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dominique, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Get LOUD is the affirmation that I am going to deem as my new favorite, which makes me more proud of it is that it’s my own.
It has shifted my mindset in more ways than I could imagine and has transferred to my community and beyond just as boldly. Just recently I went LIVE on my social platforms for an impromptu Coffee and conversation chat and had a vulnerable conversation that at the time I had no idea of the value it held nor the lives it would have led to impact. I shared with my community where I was in my creative/ entrepreneurial journey and How I felt like I was in a space of pivot while still finding out how to authentically amplify my voice. As a multi hyphenate creator who strives to create and own her own lane I realized that I don’t amplify my gifts, skills, talents, and vision enough no matter how things may change. There are times that we allow our light to dim and our voices to lower. We subconsciously see the noise of the outside world and struggle with finding the space where our voice fits in, NOT NO MORE!
Getting Loud to me means showing up Boldly and loudly about the things that matter to you! Walking in rooms shining in your power and owning the gifts, God gave you to be able to walk in your light authentically. Getting Loud means, amplifying your voice and what you bring to the world so that the things that are meant to align with you are able to make their way to you. Whether it ‘s the life you want, the career path, new opportunities, the balance you have to get LOUD about your magic so that it can lead you to the life you deserve.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

I specifically love using my IG Stories & dynamic story telling techniques to introduce new GEMS to her on (+ off) line community that gives her “homegirls” the mindset & tools to shift to a better outlook on everyday experiences through the eyes of a Millennial Black creative entrepreneur.
I got to where I am by firstly leaning into my gifts, being ok with creating differently, and doing things my way. I allowed my self to tap into all my creative sides from social media management, production assistant, personal assistant to creative direction. Was it an easy journey, NOPE, but I have learned so many skills from being ok with diving into it all.
I am most proud of the online community I have grown and impacted that I am able to elevate through my personal life experiences. I am most excited about the pivotal journey I am currently on to focus more on my impact and art of storytelling. Ive always been a creative girl, one that saw the world a bit different from every one else. It was when I started to create stories, recaps and experiences that showed the range of my unique creative eye that allowed me to create my own lane and community. Im super proud of that! I want the world to know that I am a creative chameleon that will consistently change and shift to meet new creative level in my work and the visions I produce for others. I absolutely love pushing women to unlock the creativity and clarity to build and connect with their own organic communities.
One of my favorite moments in my creative career was teaching a virtual storytelling skills workshop during the pandemic of over 50 women where I equipped them with the tools to use storytelling to create stories that impact and connect with their audience.
