We had the good fortune of connecting with Don Pablito and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Don, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The principle I value most is integrity—being honest and keeping my word. I believe in always doing what I say I will and never disregarding a promise or commitment I’ve made to someone.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most excited about my upcoming debut on LL Cool J’s new album, “The Force.” Getting to this point has been a challenging journey, but I never gave up. I always knew I had a gift, and it was only a matter of time before others recognized it too. I’ve overcome challenges by refusing to let defeat enter my mind and maintaining tunnel vision, even if it compromised relationships or friendships. One lesson I’ve learned is not to put faith in people but to have faith in your higher power and purpose. The universe will align to help you complete the mission.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If they haven’t been to LA before, they definitely need to stop at Roscoe’s right off the plane. Depending on the day of the week, I might show them the Highlight Room on a Wednesday night or take them to the Penthouse day party on a Sunday. They’ll also experience a late night in a Hollywood Hills mansion after hours. I’ll take them to a few nice restaurants, then show them Watts, Compton, and South Central, so they can see the other side of LA that still exists.
