We had the good fortune of connecting with Elijah Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elijah, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I purse an artist career because it allows me to express and experience factors of myself that I don’t use on a day to day basis.
Acting and producing give me an outlook on life and other perspectives of living experiences. Shows me life through another persons lens.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Elijah trained and studied at The Beverly Hills PlayHouse with professor Allen Barton, Then moved to New York and continued his training at The UTA Hagen Institute with professor Paul Price & Julissa Roman.

Being an independent artist is one of the scariest but most joyful things you can do. Being an independent artist means you will be alone! You will have sleepless nights, you will have hundreds of hours of experimentations and thousands of FAILURES. Days, weeks and even years of frustrations. Losing money, gaining money and losing it all over again, people doubting you and not believing in your dreams and even tons of self doubt.
But the True Joy of being an independent artist is to get to say YOU did it all and never gave up on yourself. You never gave up on that dream you have been shooting for all your life. All the failures were worth it and nobody can ever take that away from you. Nobody can ever take away the fact that you put your heart, soul and a private part of your life into something so special. Most importantly you’re giving your self more time to do something you are truly passionate about, something that makes all the fear and doubt worth it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a mate of mine came to New York City
We would have a ball.
I would show them all the tourist stuff like time square and Empire State Building etc..
but then we would go down to the village area, have a good feed there, spend sometime in the lower east side, go to little Italy grab some beautiful Italian food. Then I would take them through Washington square park and Central Park, watch some chess games. After all that we could go down to the Bronx and watch a Yankees game.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wanna give a shout-out to my mother and father for always believing In me and my twin brother Isaac bell. For never giving up on us, I love you both dearly.

I wanna give a shout-out to my twin brother Isaac bell because without him I wouldn’t be in the position of an actor or producer that I’m in today, he pushes me to the limits that I never thought I could go, an I couldn’t thank him enough for that

I wanna shout-out to my (business partner, director, writer, Brother) Emiliano Bolado. For believing in my vision as a producer and actor, allowing me to bring projects to life. For being an incredible writer and director. Your talent is unmatched an I couldn’t thank you enough.

And last but not least, I wanna thank GOD! God is good God is great. I thank the man above for looking after me and keeping my faith on a right path.
