We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Rollins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
My Career has taught me that if the work required to make my business more successful is also going to lead to a more authentic version of myself, then it’s worth it. Otherwise, I need to reevaluate my career goals. I have learned that true business success requires true personal growth.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Starting out as a retail business owner was not easy. My husband and I started with very little. We used our rent money to open our first store but I am excited to say that it has paid off and we now own 2 companies, 11 stores, and manage 40 employees. I am thrilled that we have done well despite the Pandemic!
Our Cabin Creek Crystals store located in Santa Monica on Main St. is a Lifestyle company that brings Crystal Culture back-to-earth with fair pricing and an inviting Cabin theme.
We believe in providing a superior shopping experience for a fair price.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

I would take them to Shoops Deli for amazing food and great people. I would also suggest Butchers Daughter on Abbott Kinney. It makes me feel like the day is going to be bright and positive when I start it there. Wallys Wine goes with out saying — FUN!
The Gaslite because everyone should karaoke at the best karaoke bar on the planet. I would also recommend RUTI on Montana Avenue, a luxury brand for those seeking high-end styling, and first-class service at BCBG prices. I mean come on even J.Lo shops there!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

My husband, Jeff Monroe is my life partner and my business partner. He and I always make better decisions together. We always push each other to grow.
Michael Bernard Beckwith is a true teacher for me, as well as Matt Garigan. I am constantly referring to their teachings as I lead my staff. Michael’s book and class — The Life Visioning Process, is a big tool I use often in my life.
My sister Nicole, best friend Helen, and my three children are my rocks and reasons.
