Meet Eray Efendigil

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eray Efendigil and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eray, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Aside from the decision to work for myself, taking calculated risks was the single most important decision that contributed to my success. Choosing to step outside my comfort zone and seize opportunities that weren’t guaranteed helped me grow both personally and professionally. For example, entering new markets or adopting new marketing strategies came with uncertainty, but they often led to significant rewards. Risk-taking also meant investing time and resources into learning new skills and technology, even when the outcome wasn’t immediately clear. It helped me differentiate myself from competitors who played it safe. Moreover, taking risks taught me to embrace failure as part of the learning process, which ultimately made me more resilient. Every risk I took, whether it succeeded or failed, provided valuable insights that refined my approach. It also expanded my network, exposing me to new clients and collaborations. The willingness to face uncertainty with confidence shaped my entrepreneurial mindset, allowing me to evolve with the changing market. In short, risk-taking was as instrumental to my success as deciding to be my own boss.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career as a realtor has been a rewarding journey filled with hard work, persistence, and continuous learning. What sets me apart from others is my personalized approach to real estate—understanding that every client has unique needs, and providing a tailored experience is at the core of my service. I’m most proud of building strong relationships with my clients and earning their trust, which has led to repeat business and referrals. It’s exciting to be able to guide people through one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives, whether it’s buying their dream home or selling a property at the right time.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. The real estate market can be unpredictable, and in the beginning, there were many moments of doubt and slow periods where I had to find ways to stay motivated. I overcame these challenges by consistently working on my skills—investing time in marketing, learning new technologies, and always keeping my finger on the pulse of market trends. Surrounding myself with mentors and a supportive network was key. They helped me navigate tough times and offered advice when I needed direction.
The lessons I’ve learned along the way are simple but powerful: perseverance pays off, genuine relationships matter, and it’s important to stay adaptable. I want the world to know that my brand is built on trust, dedication, and a passion for helping people achieve their real estate goals. It’s not just about transactions for me—it’s about building a community and making a positive impact in the lives of the people I work with.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to a few key people and influences who have played an important role in my journey. First and foremost, my family deserves a huge amount of credit. Their unwavering support, patience, and encouragement have been my foundation. They’ve stood by me through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, offering love and understanding when things got tough. I also want to recognize a few mentors along the way—professionals who shared their insights and guidance when I needed it most. These individuals helped me navigate challenging decisions and pushed me to keep improving.
Additionally, there’s a book that had a significant impact on my mindset: “The Lean Startup” by Eric Ries. It introduced me to the idea of constantly iterating and testing in business, which was a game-changer. Last but not least, I owe a lot to the supportive community of colleagues, clients, and peers who gave me opportunities, referrals, and inspiration. Without their trust and collaboration, I wouldn’t be where I am today. So, this shout out goes to all of them—they’ve shaped my journey and success in more ways than they may realize.
