Meet Eva Tadros | Owner, Sole Paper Co.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Eva Tadros and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eva, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think risk is a huge part of succeeding at anything in life. Risk is a combination of fear of failure and optimism. I feel like you have to give yourself a pep talk prior to taking on any risk. Out weigh the pros and cons and go for it, if it makes sense. I often times find myself more proud of the risks I have taken in my business and personal life because these initial goals or projects mentally seemed so out of reach in my initial thoughts. Risk can be a mind game for sure. Once you pass the fear of doubting yourself and actually go for it, you end up learning a lot more about yourself and your goals along the way. That saying, “no risk, no reward” can’t be more true. You really never know of your success or failure unless you try and if you never try, you will never know the outcome.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Sole Paper Co. is a full service letterpress studio that specializes in wedding invitations, every day stationery and wax seals. I am most proud of my business growth year over year. I realized that the time I put into the business, risk taking and new ideas that come to fruition are ultimately the reason for my success.
My background in design and many years of working at corporate companies has paved the way to how I work with people on a daily basis and understanding the true importance of quality customer service. In every aspect of my career my goal was to satisfy the end customer by solving problems they had on paper- visually. Creating visual solutions for brands or couples is truly satisfying and rewarding in every way. I have learned patience, understanding and more about different walks of life during my time at Sole Paper than in any other career setting. It’s a beautiful thing.
If you are that bride, that has possibly tried a few different shops that may not fully understand your vision or goals for your invitations or events, I am your girl. I pride myself on building a quality relationship with my client, understanding their needs, managing expectations, and providing them with exceptional design that satisfies not only them but one that I am proud of and share with others for many years to come.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestie showed up to Orange County, the first place I would show them around is the awesome beaches we have. I would start the morning off at breakfast at Moulin (their croissants and pastries are to die for), Laguna, Newport, Huntington, are some of my faves. Views at Crystal Cove are stunning.
We have some of the best eateries around:
Lunch at bear flag fish co. Is a must.
Dinner at Mama D’s for Italian, SOL or Javier’s for awesome Mexican food and margaritas. Shorebird, las brisas, cucuina enoteca, are fantastic as well.
LA restaurants with a view: Perch
Others with nice ambiance: joeys DTLA, Bestia, Pasta e Pasta
Museums in LA are a must. The Broad, The Getty, LACMA.
You can’t forget Disneyland or Universal Studios.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say that my family deserves a lot of credit in my success. My husband, parents and brother are always there when I need to bounce off any ideas. They are always pushing me to settle for nothing but the best and not to sweat the small stuff. Having a strong support system during the highs and lows of life and running a full time business is huge and should never be taken for granted.
