We had the good fortune of connecting with Evan Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Evan, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I decided to pursue an artistic career because it has been everything I have ever known. Art has saved my life countless times over, kept me out of trouble and most of all, connected me with so many people around the world! Giving my energy to people through my artistry allows me to connect with their minds and show them that the world most definitely is a beautiful place. I am art and art is me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a musician, dancer, singer, and songwriter I think there is a lot that I pour into my artistry. I am not usually one who likes to produce a lot of content just because, simply being that there is a deeper meaning to art, always. I think what sets me apart from others is my foundation of love.doing everything out of love makes all the difference in the way the art comes out and the quality of what is being produced. I decided from a very young age that if what I was creating didn’t move my mind, body and soul, then knew it wouldn’t do that for others.

I began performing at the age of 5 and since then I have never stopped. It is a soul passion of mine and there has been nothing more fulfilling since the start. I has not been the easiest road. There have been many times that I have failed. May times I have lost and wanted to give up but knowing that my artistry is bigger than me has kept me going. Knowing that with each creation there is a high risk and that there will be challenges, staying calm, meditating, and using the challenges to further the art instead of letting them hold me back is truly how I over come anything that gets in the way of me finishing a project.

I have learned so much about patience, love, honesty, energetic connection, and so much more through the years and many projects I’ve been blessed to be a part of. Respect for other people, and integrity also have been very prominent in my journey so far, as well as not allowing my energy and message to be compromised in the process.

I would like for the world to know that my brand is all about unconditional love. To be unconditional loving means that honesty and respect come first before anything else. While living my story, I realized how many people and circumstances were purely lies on the surface. I am changing that for the future generations by pouring more love, honesty, and respect into the world through my artistry. My brand is Love.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The first place I would take them is the beach! the beach is my top most favorite place to go, and is where I spend a lot of my time creating.

Before the pandemic broke out there were several places that live performances were accessible like Carnival and Jete which are places where dancers and artists would share with the world, I would definitely take them there!

Then I would take them to the science and space museum and show them around that area because Griffith park is also insanely beautiful! The rose pedal garden is a great place to take photos or to walk around with a coffee and catch up.

Another view based spot I would take them is a little look out spot that over sees Los Angeles in the hills! It doesnt have a name so unfortunately you’ll have to drive around the Hollywood hills to find it.

There are a couple of spots in Los Angeles that I love to eat, but all in all, im always open to trying new places. So, when my friends and I get together there isn’t one spot we go, but many. Its always an adventure when we go out to eat and drink!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and Foremost I want to thank my Mom and Dad. They gave me such great life lessons and allowed me to experience so much that showed me that truly anything is possible. They both have guided and taught me about emotional control and my dad has played the biggest part in my artistry, teaching me to be free in creation and in life.

Second I would like to dedicate a lot of my mentality to the two books: “Pray big things” – Julia Jeffress Sadler and “The Four agreements” – Don Miguel Ruiz. I rely on the teachings of these books daily to remind myself that we are all in control of ourselves and can achieve anything through prayer, action, and honesty. Also, Will Smith for his inspirational speaking and examples of the journey through life. How its not always easy but it is worth more than just us.

Lastly, my friends, teachers, and mentors. my true supporters. The people that hold me close and near who remind me that what I am doing matters.
