Meet Ezekiel Bridges | Actor Writer & Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ezekiel Bridges and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ezekiel, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks is one of the great ways to grow in life! Every time you take a risk and put yourself out there, the universe will respond. Sometimes, that response will surprise and enlighten you on new possibilities!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Art is amazing. Hands down, whether it’s the art of telling a story or making something with your hands. Sometimes creating art can feel messy and uncomfortable. But like anything, if you are persistent, it will come more naturally. Something that can be freeing and help overcome any anxiety you might be feeling, is remembering what it’s like to play. Ridding yourself of any preconceived ways that you thought the scene should go. It will allow more freedom in creation. Some of my favorite ways to engage in the Art world besides acting is working with clay, playing music/singing, and writing.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to the beach and get one of my favorite breakfast burritos at country kitchen. It’s a small little shack in Malibu across from Dukes restaurant. And later, go see a live show at aviator nation, an intimate venue also in malibu.
Later in the week, we’d do a full food and drink tour stopping at one of my favorite places in Santa Monica, Upper West.
But it wouldn’t be right passing through Santa Monica without getting a burger from Heavy Handed! (Best burgers in town, and my buddy owns the place!) 100% recommend.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family has been incredibly supportive. I’d like to shout out my father, Beau, who has been my coach in every sense of the way since I was young. From soccer/basketball coach on little league teams to acting coach as an adult. He’s a powerful and sensitive man with a trained eye for entertainment.
I’d also love to shout out Stephanie Fuery. She is an acting coach I met in college, and later studied with in Hollywood. I recommend her class to everyone that is interested!
As well as a shoutout to Amanda Renee Knox, a creative collaborator. She is a world class director. We have worked on several projects together and plan for more in the future!
