Meet Gale West | Success Coach and Money Mentor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gale West and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gale, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve had my own business for over 30 years. Originally, it was because I had chronic fatigue and was not willing to go on disability, I could set my own hours and support myself at the same time.

Over the years my motivation has changed. My current driver is redefining how we view money and success from a more soulful perspective, to support a world where all can thrive.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am an Internationally-known speaker, consultant, coach, business intuitive, bestselling author and practical mystic. I don’t typically mention the practical mystic, but that sets me apart. I am openly spiritual, and my work is very practical. A reviewer of my book, Money Come Dance With Me, said it was like the Dali Lama meets Warren Buffet. The book is about having a person relationship with money as a guide and friend. And it is more than that, It is also about being able to joyous life of well-being. I’m proud of the fact that I have over 50 five star reviews for my book, despite the fact that it was published a week after my second stroke. As a result, I was unable to do much promotion.

i am passionate about creating a world where all can thrive. In order to do that we must recognize we are all connected, when one is harmed it affects all. I would have never thought that I would be working with money but money has so much collective trauma associated with it. I believe that every system has a consciousness, and money, being part of a economic system is included. Consider what a different world it would be if money traumas were healed and it was allowed to be an agent for good?

But realized a few years ago that money is one issue and our current definition of success is another. Success base on acquisition, consumption and wealth. That’s why my website is success with soul.

It would be an amazing world if we redefined success a life of meaning and purpose while bringing our gifts and talents to the market place. And then money would, of course, be an agent for good.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them for a walk in the redwoods. . Then we would go to Santa Cruz to walk along the mile long pier and stop in the rotating Tiki bar for a drink while looking out on the ocean. We would drive north on highway 1 north along the ocean. We would walk into town along a creek trail to have a wine tasting. Then we would have dinner at an incredible Italian restaurant. If it was a first Friday we would go into San Jose for an art night. We would go to my art studio and play with paint.

We would go hiking and maybe do an over night in San Francisco.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
i want to shout out to Internal Family Systems (IFS) developed Dick Schwartz, which has been an inspiration for over 30 years. When I was first introduced to IFS, it was in its initial development. Now it is a world wide movement changing how we view the world and humanity.

I also want to do a shout out to Ellena Leiberman, who has been a mentor for many years through the Akashic records.
