We had the good fortune of connecting with Georges Jamous and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Georges, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
This question takes me back to when I was young. Being part of a family that raised few entrepreneurs, enjoying the challenge to start a business was always part of my character. It provides an infinite amount of possibilities. Seamless Construction is making me grow personally at a rapid pace, and allowing me to get exposed to more and more opportunities and challenges on a day to day basis.

Since becoming a Managing Partner at Seamless Construction, my job has brought me a high level of satisfaction and accomplishment. Those two materialize through happy clients, professional employees and successful projects.
I would like to share a saying that I live by: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” To follow through, at Seamless Construction, we feel that no project is too small or too big. It is about building long lasting relationships with our clients and making sure their needs are met. One of our biggest focuses is recuring business. It speaks a lot for itself, in my opinion.

Lastly, being an entrepreneur and owning a business can be difficult. However, I am very grateful for where the business has led me. I am also blessed to have such a great group of successful people working with us at Seamless Construction and pushing towards the highest levels of achievements day by day. Our company is growing quickly and our goal is to start taking multi million dollar projects within the next couple years.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Seamless Construction, we embrace challenges and provide top notch quality and client service. Covering both Los Angeles County and Orange County areas, I am mostly proud of the feedback and smiles that I get, from each and every client I and we at Seamless Construction have worked with. Even though construction is messy, we have mastered the art of making sure everyone is happy before, during and after we have completed our work. Making it this far in my early career has been a great challenge. It took a lot of dedication, long hours and working two jobs for over 5 years to be able to build the knowledge and confidence to become a managing partner in a successful business. Setting the vision and breaking it down to small achievable goals on a personal and professional level have helped reduce the size of the challenges and allowed me to achieve more. So many lessons to share among a few are, dream big, breakdown bigger goals into smaller steps, keep on learning and growing, and always workout.

To close, here at Seamless Construction, we work tirelessly to make sure everyone we work with, and everyone that works for us is happy and satisfied. Our employees are the backbone of our business. Our clients are the heart of our business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It would start with a visit to one of my favorite beaches along Venice/Marina del Rey area. Walking the Venice Canal and eating in one of the great restaurants (UOVO, KazuNori, Hiho Burger) in Marina Del Rey waterfront. A drive along PCH up to Malibu and then watching the sunset at a great spot in Topanga called Topanga Lookout.
Another place to visit is Lake Shrine in the Palisades and then going to hike Temescal Canyon. On the other hand, the wisdom tree hike in Hollywood hills is my favorite view of the city.
For a nice night out, I would visit Perch in Downtown LA for a good drink or a great dinner.
Lastly, I would go walk around Old Town Pasadena.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate the shoutout to all my mentors that helped me achieve the level of success I am at right now. Starting with my parents, siblings and all my career mentors from managers to directors that I had the opportunity to work and grow with. Many took me under their wing and tough me many skills that I use in my everyday life. I also have to credit few books I have read about leadership and winning mentality, mainly from authors like Dale Carnegie, John Maxwell and Malcolm Gladwell.

All the above combined, reflects into my day to day work/life balance as well as love for my job. Being part of Seamless Construction has opened my eyes to so many new opportunities and potentials I have been dreaming of. We offer a wide spectrum of design and construction services, indoors and outdoors in Los Angeles and Orange County, and having learnt all the above from my mentors is allowing me to bring our vision into reality. We provide high quality services from backyard construction to pools, pavers, concrete, patios and patio covers, artificial turf, outdoor kitchens and barbecues all the way to building new California rooms and more. Our indoor department covers kitchen remodeling, bathroom and any interior work all the way up to ADUs and garage conversions.

Looking back at all I have accomplished so far, there is no doubt it is due to the help of my family, friends and mentors. Big Shoutout to all of you! Lots of love and appreciation!
