Hi Gherald, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My entrepreneurial journey into the world of talent booking began in middle school, almost like a calling. It all started when I helped my siblings land gigs in commercials, educational videos, and print work, igniting a passion for connecting people with opportunities.

Throughout high school and college, this passion blossomed. I actively participated in media activities – DJing for the radio station, writing for the newspaper, singing in the choir, and working as part of the stage crew. While pursuing a degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting Law and Newsreporting, I was selected for the prestigious “WPIX” Broadcasting class, “ABC Sports” and landed coveted internships at “The WB Network” and “WKTU”.

While juggling a full college course load, I ignited my passion for acting by attending three different acting schools. This dedication landed me a coveted spot in a talent showcase class at Weist Barron, reserved for the school’s top actors. In turn, I built confidence which led to appearances in print ads, film, and TV shows. My hustle extended beyond landing gigs for myself. I actively championed my brother and several friends, securing them spots alongside me in TV commercials. This early success established my reputation as a go-getter who could not only excel but also elevate those around him. Filmmakers and industry professionals recognized this talent, consistently seeking me out to assemble top-notch crews for their projects.

Fueled by people asking me to help them, and my well-rounded experience, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by aspiring talents, especially minorities. There was a persistent feeling of being scammed or lacking access to reliable advice and opportunities. This ignited a spark within me – a desire to bridge this gap. Leveraging the network I had meticulously built over time, I envisioned a platform that would empower talent and connect them with the right opportunities. Thus, Talent & Skills was born. This is more than just a business; it’s my dedication to helping others turn their dreams into reality, just like I did in the entertainment industry. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles itinerary would be:
Day 1:
Hollywood Icons and City Lights
