Hi Haley, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is essential if you want to be a trailblazer!

I took a huge risk trying out to be a professional NFL cheerleader and I made 2 teams!

I took another huge risk starting a business and getting out of the military and it has been the best decision of my life.

I took a huge risk when I applied for Veteran Shark Tank and our brand won $50,000 when we won!

Risk taking is 100% necessary and I encourage every entrepreneur to go for it!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
TORCH Warriorwear is the first clothing brand dedicated to blending the fashion and tactical world for modern day Women Warriors. I am proud to say we have the only product on the market that is comfortable and form fitting for women who serve and we are developing a complete line around every part of the uniform – from accessories, to boots, to athlesiure.

I utilized my creative spirit through relatable social media content and attending as many conferences as I possibly can to meet my ideal customer in real life.

Nothing worth having is easy in life but what helps me overcome the challenges is seeing the excitement and joy my products bring to women.

I have 3 phrases I live by now: Never settle. Be fearless. Choose love. Inspire always.

This basically means to always be a sponge and never get comfortable and always strive to continue being the best version of yourself. It’s important to fearlessly go after what excites you because life is short and you want to look back and say wow I can’t believe I accomplished so many amazing things that positively impacted so many people.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A week long trip with me would look like this:

– I would have my friend book a couple nights at the Dream Hotel where we would hit the rooftop pool and eat their incredible chicken sandwich

– We would have to do a morning Hollywood Sign hike, then go to Elephante for brunch, and then head to the WeWork in LA and show her where I work and build the brand

– I would have to bring her down to Long Beach where I live and show her downtown 2nd St

– Hit my gym, Iconix, and take a stroll along the bike path

– Take her down to Huntington and Newport area are show her the beautiful beaches and upscale restaurants and bars

– And if we have time we would head down to San Diego, link up with my other besties that live down there and hit a night out as well as watch the sunset and hopefully catch some dolphins swimming by
