We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Migalchan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victor, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
First comes the thought then comes the action. I had my ideas and goals, therefore I started my business, in order to bring them to reality. Initially my business was created in order to serve the community. I believe it is important to have a thought about how can one be useful and helpful to another, only with a pure heart and intentions you can create real value which later will transform into business and also gain respect and appreciation.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I started this interview I mentioned that first comes a thought, then comes the action. With no goal, no vision and no action – nothing comes to reality. I had my vision and my goals, and as a decently good executive, I brought them to reality. Everything that has to be complete in order to reach your goal looks like a puzzle. You have to put puzzles together. Sometimes one puzzle might not make any sense (like why in order to become a good director you have to work as a waiter, or… sell insurance). However you have to have faith in God, He knows what is needed, and then in yourself – that you can do it. Nothing is easy, everything is and should be earned through hard work, dedication, discipline, personal education and growth. However if you like what you do – you will smile. It reminds me how Mr Arnold Schwarzenegger said that when he came to the gym he saw many people training pretty hard but they looked unhappy. However when he was lifting weights – he was smiling. He knew that each exercise he does brings him closer to his goal. Also it is important to have proper time and efficiency management, which later develop into other important skills. Life does bring you a lot of challenges. How I dialed with them – I used the qualities, which I developed as a martial artist. Discipline, dedication, faith. We fall, we stand up and keep moving forward.
An important thing which I have learned through experience in my life was: although 1 person is also a warrior, 1 soldier is not enough to win the war on the battlefield. You can achieve many things alone but you cannot achieve great things without a team of like-minded people. Of course, nothing moves forward without a saying “honesty is the best policy”.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to take this opportunity to thank God and my parents for giving me a chance to live this life, for the strong foundation, family and scholar education which had made me the person I am today, of course alongside with all life challenges I had to face and win. In life you always win, either in a direct way or by gaining experience which nothing else but another brick in the construction of your foundation and the ladder to success. I couldn’t get what I did without my team of course, which I’m extremely appreciative and proud of. It is the truth that when you team up with real strong people you lift each other up. And of course, my partner, who I learned so much from, who gave me so much incentive and inspiration. I became better person and more proficient at everything I do in my life
