We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Marie Muse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah Marie, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. – Audrey Hepburn I love being a woman and I love being influenced by powerful, sexy, and sweet women who are creating massive change in the world. To me, this quote is a gentle reminder that it’s not about how you look but rather how you feel. It’s a quote that reminds women everywhere to embody the change of being beautiful from within and then sharing that beauty with how they show up for themselves and others. Audrey Hepburn is one of the most influential women in my life for her role in movies while also maintaining a fierce, feminine idealism of how the world can be.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My whole life is art. From the way I wake up in the morning and make my cacao, to how I draw baths, and definitely to how I love others. I’m a muse.. so it’s my mission to re-establish the art of life in every single thing I do. What I am most proud of right now are two monumental ceremony contracts I’ve just completed! I had a 3 month exclusive community client during co-vid where I got to support this community in learning about yoga, tantra, and cacao.. hosting events and doing private sessions with them so that they had one Priestess Muse for all their spiritual needs.. And my second most exciting experience just ended – my Flow State 48 hour Immersion process for people ready to have monumental breakthroughs on how they can begin to create their lives as MasterPieces.. It’s been a great few months and I’m truly feeling blessed to be alive! Neither was easy.. things that are worthwhile often aren’t. However, I’ve trained 12 years to become this woman, this Elemental Priestess, so it’s an honor to be able to hold such deep and transformative ceremonies for people. I overcame the challenges with my community, different coaches, and a lot of self-care. I literally had to die – a whole identity had to die – so that I could be the woman I am today. It’s refreshing! I want the world to know that I have created myself over years. From being a child to this moment budding into full force femininity in my 30’s – my life has been a modge-podge of wisdom teachings, traumas, lessons learned sometimes once sometimes hundreds of times, and ya know what.. It’s finally all coming together as to why it had to happen exactly as it did. My own story of pain and tribulation is how I support others – and that is powerful! My prayer is all people everywhere can remember to say patient and trust that there will be a breakthrough. Trust the Process.. When it’s hard and devastating, hopeful, frustrating, joyous.. just trust the process because when these big moments land and you can cry at the end of a ritual because you’re so in love with the breakthroughs your clients are having and you’re so full of love and connection witnessing people wake up and fly way (possibly never to be seen again..) Trust that process and just feel it all.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ha! Depends. I’ve been traveling so honestly can’t really say what’s open in LA right now.. But before my extensive trip to Mexico and beyond our itinerary would be as follows. Wake up and Pray! Grab your mala beads, let’s chant and dance, get into the body, pull some oracle cards and set the intention to have a magical day. Then bike to Modo for some delicious hot yoga! Jam out while we sweat and fine tune our temple bodies! From there, obviously we are biking right to Venice beach to Jump in that beautiful ocean! Yes! Making sand angels, breathing with the water.. Enjoying life au natural. Post Beach, I think we should go to either Erewhon or Kreation Cafe for some much needed nourishment.. Let’s bike there, grab some food from the local faves and meet some new friends! (cause you always do 🙂 ) After that, we have to check out some fun shops, trying on clothes and giggling together, taking photos with the art murals and making memories. It’s required. So many of my friends live in the area we may as well drive by hug all the closets folks. It’s ok if they’re not home, we have other friends to bike towards who always have time for a cup of tea. Finally, let’s buzz home. Shower up, zen out for a bit.. and then head to the Mystic Manor for a soul nourishing evening of play the self-development way. Mystic Manor always has some sort of awesome workshop that has you feeling like a better person than when you arrived. I love learning with community and friends! After that, it’s time to rest.. so we head home to draw ourselves a few baths, and dream into another day, another hike in Pacific Palisades.. and another reason to smile.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friends! I literally would not be where I’m at without them. Turbo Rainbow, Amy Hui, Petra Hui, Diana, J – G. and the whole group of muses who I keep. Beyond that the book “Being Peace” by Thich Naht Hahn saved my life.. I’m a fan of all things poetic and have written at least one poetry book available on Amazon. Beyond that, Rabia, Hafiz and Rumi are my favorite poets and I carry a book of their poetry with me every where I go. My story was highly influenced by the movie Moulin Rouge as well. The underworld carries this depth of desire that is simply delicious. I love performance art, the idea of dance and musicality.. I moved towards pleasure in life because I wasn’t taught pleasure growing up. The bohemian ideals in Moulin Rouge are exactly what I stand for so I reach for beauty, freedom, truth and love in everything I do now.. except without all the absinthe ;).
