We had the good fortune of connecting with High Society Homeless and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi High Society Homeless, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Having a great chemistry with all the band member. A good friendship and good bonds show when you perform on stage and write your original music.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are a rock band residing in LA playing in venues like The Viper Room, The Whisky a Go Go, State Social House and many other venues in the heart of the Sunset Strip. We write our original music with great vibes and deep meanings as well as some fun dirty stuff. We give a great show full of energy and we get to the point where Alex the singer jumps off stage and gets to the ground with the audience. People love that.
What we are most proud off is having lines of people to come in the venue where we are about to play! That’s thrilling.
We are not in the top quite yet but we are giving it all to get there. It has not been easy specially with Covid-19 where no live shows exist and a music industry that is completely the opposite to rock music. We have been able to be present just by being consistent with the band. Releasing new songs, being present on social media and the radio.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Speaking about music we would say the sunset strip at night where you can see so many different bands playing. Live music is a thing to really enjoy. We also like Melrose ave where you can go to the craziest clothing shops, food and people. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, Most importantly all the fans because they are the ones who listen to our music and watch our shows.
Cool Joe has been great to us! He is a radio show host in Massachusetts and he is constantly playing our songs on his station WLPZ.org
He deserves a great shoutout.
