We had the good fortune of connecting with isabelle gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi isabelle, we’d love to hear about a book that’s had an impact on you.
The book that really started my journey inward was ‘many lives many master’ by Brian Weiss. It sparked my interest in hypnosis and erased all preconceived ideas I had about the modality. I had a couple sessions with a hypnotherapist, it truly changed my life. I traveled back into a past life, released so much emotion, and felt connected to myself again. I was very intrigued, and started studying the modality and many others after. That was the start of a new career after being a designer for years. The combination of all these techniques became my own unique modality and teaching.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My journey within lead me to starting my own practice. Early on I knew I wanted to share these teachings. That being said, I had to overcome many fears and reprogram old belief systems I picked up from childhood, society and my own limiting inner critic. My practice and teachings are a journey into the subconscious, the space where change happens, where you can let go of the trauma, anxiety and belief systems and meet the powerful and limitless you. We create our own reality if we can connect to the power of our minds and the energy of the universe. This knowledge connects the mind, body and the soul. From that place we can live a fulfilled, joyous and effortless life. We can turn our biggest dreams into reality, if we can only believe we are worthy of it!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The drive up from LA to Carmel is such a classic but still my favorite! I am from Europe so this is something I have done so many times with visitors. I think it really shows you so much of what California has to offer. The views, hikes, food and vibes. I suggest to stop at one of the studios I teach at. The Mindry in Malibu, and sit in a Sound bath or meditation, followed by lunch at The real coconut. The perfect start for a road trip up the coast. Make a stop in Santa Barbara and stay at my favorite hotel The El Encanto, lay by the pool while catching up or visit the Santa Barbara zoo. Lizard’s Mouth hike is about a 30 min drive from Santa Barbara and it is absolutely stunning! My favorite photographer, Kelly Sweda, took me there for a shoot once, the pictures are magical. Get your workout in and make your way up to Big Sur. Stop at Nepenthe for lunch, go on a nearby hike and maybe stop at Esalen for a workshop or massage . If you are celebrating, stay at the Post Ranch in. It is my favorite hotel in the world. The stars from the hot tub at night are out of this world. You might want to stay here ,but I do recommend to drive a little further to Carmel and have a croissant at La Bicyclette and watch the Bag piper at sunset at the Inn at Spanish Bay. I think I’m ready to do this trip again soon. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am very grateful for anyone who come on my path. WE are all teachers for each other. We are all mirrors for each other and some of these mirrors have shown me a lot about who I am, they were so bright! I am very lucky to be surrounded by a conscious community I can rely on, especially one of my best friends Madison Weber. I love her work and dedication to help humanity.
